¿WHAT IS A VISA?

The visa is a standard that governed between countries to legalize the entry and stay of people in a nation where not nationals or free transit. Also known as visa, the visa is a document that is attached to the passport authorities to indicate that it has been examined and it has been considered valid to enter or leave the country.

SEVEN STEPS TO TAKE OUT A VISA

Step 1: Select your type of visa. Step 2: obtain the application form. Step 3: cancel the rights of visa

application. Step 4: program their appointments in

the center of attention applicant.

Step 5 present you to the center of attention applicant.

Step 6: Present you in the Unit of Visas of the Embassy of the United States in Bogotá in the date and hour of their appointment.

Step 7:Pick up their passport with visa in the office of DHL or in the CA that you selected in the Step 4.

REQUERIMENTS

The Unit of Visas of non Immigrant doesn't recommend any picture service in particular. Photographic studies exist in all Colombia that you/ they offer pictures that fulfill the requirements for a visa application. Without interesting the type of photographic study that you choose, make sure that the picture fulfills the following specifications:

The size of the picture should be of 5 cm x 5 cm. Preferably to color, still when pictures will be accepted

in white and black. Recent picture (taken with maximum six months of

anteriority). White Fund. The picture should be taken completely of front (the

person won't be able to be looking to the right, to the left, up or below), and the face will cover 50% of the area of the picture approximately.

The two ears will be totally visible. Without hats, caps, etc. Without earrings. Digital pictures won't be accepted. Without glasses.
