How to take your homeopathic medicine

1. Store medicines only in the original container, atroom temperature and away from strong-smelling substances.

2. Medicines should not be taken within 15-30minutes of food, drink, tobacco, toothpaste,other medication etc. If taking more than onehomeopathic medicine, allow 5 minutesbetween each.

3. Medicines should not be handled. Put tablets,pills and granules into the cap of the bottle andtip into the mouth. Sachets should be unfoldedand the powder deposited dry on the tongue.Liquids may be taken directly on the tongue orin a small amount of water in a glass. Unlessotherwise indicated, a dose is one or two tabletsor pills, one powder, about 100 granules (it doesnot have to be precise) or one to two drops.

4. Medicines in solid forms should be sucked orchewed. Hold liquid medicines in the mouth for15 seconds before swallowing.

5. Medicines should not be used beyond theexpiry date printed on the label and any spilledmedicines should be discarded.

6. Do not stop taking any prescribed medicationunless specifically instructed to do so by theprescriber. Homeopathic medicines should notinteract, but if you are in doubt, ask apharmacist or other healthcare professional.
