How to Use the Editor Bar
The editor bar allows you to manipulate text and formatting in much the same way you can in a
Word document....
(Once you have logged in and are on the page you want to edit) left-click
the EDIT button in the top right hand corner.
By selecting the text and clicking the appropriate button at the left of the editor bar, you can bold, italicise or underline it.
Keyboard shortcuts used in Word (eg Ctrl + B for bold) also apply.
The ‘Style Text’ button...
... allows you to modify font, text-size, background colour,
and alignment....
Click the ‘Apply Styles’ button when you’re done.
To make a heading, highlight the relevant text and select from the
drop-down menu where ‘Normal’ is the default.
On Clio, we make page headings (eg. the title of an
essay) a ‘Heading 2’ and sub-headings a ‘Heading 3’.
