HPP MULTI PROCESS2013 Catalog

All Natural Freshness has developed a multi-machine processing solution that provides cradle to grave traceability, validation, and routing

to multiple end points. These end points can be in a pre-package processing application whereby the system is routing to fillers for

packaging or in a post packaging processing application where the system is routing to multiple boxing stations.

Our illustration below is a material handling system for the processing from a multi-product buffer zone to a validated High Pressure Our illustration below is a material handling system for the processing from a multi-product buffer zone to a validated High Pressure

Pasteurization (HPP) system. The process then transfers validated HPP baskets from the HPP machines to the filling stations. The system

utilizes 4 basket carts to transport product from production to the buffer zone. When an HPP machine becomes available the 4 basket cart

is moved into position, the operator (human or robotic) reads the bar code on the basket, and the ANF Intelligence Manager sends the

correct recipe to the HPP Machine . The HPP machine initiates the loading of product into the vessel and the product is pasteurized at the

correct time and pressure. In the event the machine fails to complete the cycle, ANF Intelligence Manager would request validation from correct time and pressure. In the event the machine fails to complete the cycle, ANF Intelligence Manager would request validation from

Operator that product be reprocessed. Product then exits the vessel and a series of transfer conveyors coupled with a rail-mounted robot

that is used to transfer baskets from the (3) HPP exit conveyors into the (7) fill stations. At each of the fill stations, gravity roller conveyors

are positioned to provide a buffer of (4) HPP containers.

The basket is conveyed from the HPP machine to a station where a barcode is read and the robot picks the basket., this will determine

which fill station the basket is directed to. Upon the basket reaching the designated fill station, the operator will be responsible for the rest

of the process. Once the bag is removed, the operator will take the basket off the elevator and drop it into a chute to return to the

beginning of the process.
