McKinney-Vento and/or the Family Development Network HMIS. Users of other HMIS program types will have to log off of one and log on to the other.

Specific HPRP HMIS training will occur during the 3 day September training but will also be available via on line webinars.

HMIS HPRP agreements will be sent out early next week. Please begin to discuss needed user licenses.

Clarifications: The total length of time any HPRP assistance

may be rendered to a participant is 18 months. This applies to all Housing Relocation and Stabilization Services as well as to direct Financial Assistance.

Each Sub grantee is required to maintain documentation of essential eligibility criteria, e.g. income verification, habitability inspections, etc. A standard file format will be defined to facilitate auditing.

IN - HPRH

Clarifications:The IHOP will be available in October, 2009 .

Separate training will be provided.A HPRP participant maintains their homeless status

while in the program and can be qualified for other long term programs while receiving HPRP assistance.

Prevention in the HPRP is based on the immediacy of the risk of homelessness. This is HUD’s “but for” test. Therefore, being on a Section 8 waiting list is not an automatic qualification for HPRP.
