NAVY HEALTH PROFESSIONS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (HPSP) DENTAL SCHOOL The Health Professions Scholarship Program is designed to provide a financial incentive for students in designated health care professions to complete degree requirements and obtain a commission in the Dental Corps.     The Health Professions Scholarship Program is designed to provide a financial incentive for students in designated health care professions to complete degree requirements and obtain a

    commission in the Medical Service Corps.

    Benefits: 100% of your tuition is paid. Monthly stipend in excess of $2,200 to spend as you like. All educationally required school fees (minus housing and meals) are paid. Full re-imbursement for required books, supplies and equipment. Active Duty pay and benefits for 45 days a year.

    Eligibility Requirements: Citizenship - Must be a U.S. Citizen. Age - Complete your degree by age 42.

    Education - Must be enrolled in or accepted for transfer to an accredited college, university or school of study for a designated health profession. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above to apply. Must complete studies/training as full time students attending all normal school sessions. (3 semesters) and must maintain GPA of at least 3.0 after selection.

    Degree/certification requirements must be fulfilled within 24 months. Selectees must have an approved degree/course of study completion plan approved by Navy Recruiting Command.

    Service Obligation: Medical Service Corps (MSC) minimum obligation varies by the program and number of years you are in the HPSP

    program. Your recruiter can provide specifics based on your program of interest.

    The Health Services Collegiate Program is designed to provide financial incentive for students to complete their dental school education and obtain a commission in the Dental Corps (DC).

    Benefits: Active duty status as an Officer Candidate First Class (OCPO1)/E-6. Receive a military salary anywhere from $3,280

    to $5,610* monthly while attending school. A Comprehensive health-care benefits package for you and your spouse and children. Time in this program counts towards retirement. Earn vacation while in this program. You pay for tuition, books, and other school expenses.

    * Navy HSCP housing allowance based on graduate school location. Increased offer amounts available in areas with higher cost of living.

    Eligibility Requirements: Citizenship - Must be a U.S. Citizen. Age - Complete your degree by age 42.

    Education - Must be enrolled in, or accepted for transfer into a dental school accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA). Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above to apply. Must complete studies/training as full time students attending all normal school sessions (2 semesters or 3 quarters), and must maintain a GPA of above 3.0 after selection.

    Service Obligation: Year for year with a minimum obligation of three years on active duty. An AEGD or GPR after Dental School is

    considered a neutral year.

  • US Navy Nurse Candidate Program

    Program Benefits:• $1,000 a month stipend while in student status (must be full time) • $10,000 sign-on bonus ($5K up front, $5K six months later)• Guaranteed position in the Navy Nurse Corps after graduation

    Eligibility Requirements:• Must be a US Citizen• Enrolled Full-Time or Accepted to an ACEN or CCNE accredited BSN program• Less than 42 years old at time of graduation with BSN• Must have a 3.2 GPA or Higher• Must be graduating with BSN between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2023• Must be in good health & legal and financial standing
