HSC Sim Programming Own Unit Operations – 1 Day
HSC Sim module contains several built-in generic unit operation models of reactors, which users can apply inprocess flowsheets and calibrate using experimental data. However, users may get full flexibility with their ownDLL type unit operation models.
This one-day course gives information and good practices on how to create generic DLL unit models withVisual Studio. The DLL model template and availability of HSC functions help a lot when developing your ownunit operation models. DLL units may be based on chemical reactions, element distributions, or particles; thebasic procedures are quite similar.
This course contains several workshop examples in which DLL unit models are developed using MicrosoftVisual Studio tools. Some basic knowledge about programming is recommended. If you are interested in thecourse we will be happy to send you more information or you can look at the manual from the HSC installation,Help folder, file: 50 Sim Unit DLL Manual.doc
Unit operation basics- Development environment- How to start making DLL models- General structure of DLL model- How to utilize HSC readymade functions in the DLL- Workshop 1: How to make changes to ready-made models- Workshop 2: How to create your own models on the empty model template.
