Distinguished Alumni Award

Nomination Form

Each year Alumni Relations and Services recognizes the contribution to MacEwan and community made by an outstanding alumni.

Presented at Convocation ceremonies, the Distinguished Alumni Award is open to all College graduates. To be considered, a candidate will have exhibited outstanding service and leadership in one or more of the following areas:

Service to the community Business Arts and Culture Athletics Science and Technology Healthcare Not-for-profit Human development The environment Education Government MacEwan through Alumni Relations and Services MacEwan through channels other than Alumni Relations and

Services Other areas which may be deemed appropriate by the Selection

Committee

Nominations must be submitted via the nomination form and include particulars of the nominator(s) along with written biographical information about the nominee. Anyone may nominate alumni for the award, and there is no limit to the number of times a candidate may be nominated.

Supporting documentation such as newspaper articles, letters of support, resumés, etc. should be included with submission. A well-prepared and documented nomination is required, and a nomination without documentation may not be successful. All nominations will be acknowledged, in writing, by Alumni Relations and Services. The nominator(s) of the successful recipient will also be advised of the decision.
