General Description The BUS System Distributor makes it possible to connect multiple frequency inverters in an RS-485 network using RJ-45 cabling. You can then control, monitor and edit the configuration of multiple inverters from a single personal computer. The distributor is available in two versions: FR-RJ45-HUB4 with 4 RJ-45 connectors This distributor supports connection of up to two frequency inverters to one computer. FR-RJ45-HUB10 with 10 RJ-45 connectors This distributor supports connection of up to eight freqency inverters to one computer. Installation and Wiring Connection When installing the BUS System Distributor in a cabinet please fas- ten the distributor using the lug on the side. Connect the personal computer to the BUS IN connector using the SC-FRPC cable. This cable has an integrated RS-232/RS-485 con- verter. Connect a frequency inverter to the Inverter 1 connector: Connect the PU connector on the inverter to the RJ-45 connector on the dis- tributor using the FR-A5CBL1 cable. NOTE: A frequency inverter must be connected to the Inverter 1 connector because this connector supplies the +5V power required by the inte- grated RS-232/RS-485 converter in the SC-FRPC cable. Connect the terminating resistor FR-RJ45TR to the BUS OUT connector. Connection to the frequency inverter The illustration below shows the positions and pin assignments of the con- nectors used for the connecting the BUS System Distributor on the various frequency inverter models. Before starting installation wait for at least 10 minutes after the power supply has been switched off. The capacitor is charged with high voltage for some time after power off and it is danger- ous. The inverter must be earthed. Earthing must conform to the requirements of national and local safety regulations and elec- trical codes. (JIS, NEC section 250, IEC 536 class 1 and other applicable standards) Do not perform parts removal which is not instructed in this manual. Doing so may lead to fault or damage of the inverter. E CAUTION Use the frequency inverter and the BUS system distributor in the environment within the general specifications described in the instruction manual of the inverter. Never use the products in areas with dust, oily smoke, conductive dusts, corrosive or flammable gas, vibrations or impacts, or expose it to high tem- perature, condensation, or wind and rain. If the products are used in such a place described above, elec- trical shock, fire, malfunction, damage, or deterioration may be caused. When drilling screw holes or wiring, cutting chips or wire chips should not enter ventilation slits. Such an accident may cause fire, failure or malfunction. Do not touch the conductive parts of the frequency inverter directly.     General DescriptionThe BUS System Distributor makes it possible to connect multiplefrequency inverters in an RS-485 network using RJ-45 cabling.     Installation and Wiring

    Connection When installing the BUS System Distributor in a cabinet please fas-

    ten the distributor using the lug on the side. Connect the personal computer to the BUS IN connector using the

    SC-FRPC cable. This cable has an integrated RS-232/RS-485 con-verter.

    Connect a frequency inverter to the Inverter 1 connector: Connectthe PU connector on the inverter to the RJ-45 connector on the dis-tributor using the FR-A5CBL1 cable.

    NOTE:A frequency inverter must be connected to the Inverter 1 connectorbecause this connector supplies the +5V power required by the inte-grated RS-232/RS-485 converter in the SC-FRPC cable.

    Connect the terminating resistor FR-RJ45TR to the BUS OUTconnector.

    Connection to the frequency inverterThe illustration below shows the positions and pin assignments of the con-nectors used for the connecting the BUS System Distributor on the variousfrequency inverter models.

    P DANGER Cut off all phases of the power source externally before start-

    ing the installation or wiring work, thus avoiding electric shockor damages to the product.

    Before starting installation wait for at least 10 minutes after thepower supply has been switched off. The capacitor is chargedwith high voltage for some time after power off and it is danger-ous.

    The inverter must be earthed. Earthing must conform to therequirements of national and local safety regulations and elec-trical codes. (JIS, NEC section 250, IEC 536 class 1 and otherapplicable standards)

    Do not perform parts removal which is not instructed in thismanual. Doing so may lead to fault or damage of the inverter.

    Allgemeine BeschreibungMit Hilfe des BUS-System-Verteilers knnen mehrere Frequenzumrichterber RJ-45-Kabel zu einem RS485-Netzwerk verbunden werden. Somitist es mglich, mehrere Frequenzumrichter ber einen Personalcomputerzu steuern, zu berwachen und ihre Parameterwerte einzustellen. DerVerteiler ist in zwei Ausfhrungen erhltlich: FR-RJ45-HUB4 mit 4 RJ-45-Anschlssen

    Dieser Verteiler erlaubt den Anschluss von bis zu zwei Frequenzum-richtern an einen Personalcomputer.

    FR-RJ45-HUB10 mit 10 RJ-45-AnschlssenDieser Verteiler erlaubt den Anschluss von bis zu acht Frequenzum-richtern an einen Personalcomputer.

    Installation und Verdrahtung

    Beschaltung Wenn Sie den BUS-System-Verteiler in einem Schaltschrank instal-

    lieren, befestigen Sie den Verteiler an der seitliche Lasche. Schlieen Sie den Personalcomputer an die Buchse BUS IN an. Ver-

    wenden Sie dazu das Verbindungskabel SC-FRPC. Das Kabel ver-fgt ber einen integrierten RS232/RS485-Wandler.

    Schlieen Sie an der Buchse Inverter 1 einen Frequenzumrichter an.Verbinden Sie dazu den PU-Anschluss des Frequenzumrichters unddie RJ-45-Buchse des Verteilers mit dem Kabel FR-A5CBL1.

    HINWEISDa der RS232/RS485-Wandler im Verbindungskabel SC-FRPCdurch die Buchse Inverter 1 mit einer Betriebsspannung von +5 V DCversorgt wird, muss an dieser Buchse ein Frequenzumrichter ange-schlossen werden.

    Schlieen Sie an der Buchse BUS OUT den AbschlusswiderstandFR-RJ45TR an.

    Anschluss an den FrequenzumrichterNachfolgende Abbildung zeigt die Lage und die Belegung derAnschlussbuchse zum Anschluss an den BUS-System-Verteiler bei denverschiedenen Frequenzumrichtermodellen.

    P GEFAHR Schalten Sie vor der Installation die Versorgungsspannung

    des Frequenzumrichters und andere externe Spannungen aus.

    Bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen, halten Sie eineWartezeit von mindestens 10 Minuten ein, damit sich dieKondensatoren nach dem Abschalten der Netzspannung aufeinen ungefhrlichen Spannungswert entladen knnen.

    Der Frequenzumrichter muss geerdet werden. Die Erdungmuss den nationalen und lokalen Sicherheitsbestimmungenund Richtlinien folgen (JIS, NEC Abschnitt 250, IEC 536 Klasse1 und andere Standards).

    Deinstallieren Sie keine Teile, deren Deinstallation nicht indieser Anleitung beschrieben ist. Andernfalls kann derFrequenzumrichter beschdigt werden.

    E ACHTUNG Betreiben Sie den Frequenzumrichter und das BUS-Verteiler-

    System nur unter den Umgebungsbedingungen, die in derBedienungsanleitung des Frequenzumrichters aufgefhrtsind. Der Frequenzumrichter und der Verteiler drfen keinemStaub, lnebel, keinen tzenden oder entzndlichen Gasen,starken Vibrationen oder Schlgen, hohen Temperaturen undkeiner Kondensation oder Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden.

    Achten Sie bei der Montage darauf, dass keine Bohrspne oderDrahtreste durch die Lftungsschlitze in den Frequenzumrich-ter gelangen und so einen Kurzschluss verursachen knnen.

    Berhren Sie keine spannungsfhrenden Teile des Fre-quenzumrichters, wie z. B. die Anschlussklemmen oderSteckverbindungen.

    Berhren Sie den Frequenzumrichter weder wenn ereingeschaltet ist noch kurz nach dem Ausschalten derSpannungsversorgung. Die Oberflche kann sehr hei seinund es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr.

    Description gnraleLe rpartiteur du systme BUS permet de relier plusieurs variateurs de fr-quence un rseau RS485 laide dun cble RJ-45. Il est ainsi possiblede commander, contrler et de configurer les valeurs des paramtres deplusieurs variateurs de frquence avec un ordinateur. Deux modles derpartiteur sont disponibles : FR-RJ45-HUB4 avec 4 connexions RJ-45

    Ce rpartiteur permet de raccorder jusqu deux variateurs de fr-quence un ordinateur.

    FR-RJ45-HUB10 avec 10 connexions RJ-45Ce rpartiteur permet de raccorder jusqu huit variateurs de fr-quence un ordinateur.

    Installation et cblage

    Beschaltung Si vous installez le rpartiteur du systme BUS dans une armoire de

    Raccordez la rsistance de terminaison FR-RJ45TR sur la prisefemelle BUS OUT.

    Le variateur de frquence doit tre mis la terre. La mise laterre doit rpondre aux prescriptions nationales et locales descurit ainsi quaux directives (JIS, NEC paragraphe 250, IEC536 classe 1 et autres standards).

    Ne dsinstallez aucune pice dont la dsinstallation nest pasdcrite dans ce guide. Le variateur de frquence peut sinontre endommag.

    Descrizione generaleI ripartitori di sistema BUS consentono di collegare pi convertitori difrequenza ad una rete RS485 tramite un cavo RJ-45. In tal modo possibile gestire, controllare e impostare i valori parametrici di piconvertitori di frequenza tramite un personal computer. Il ripartitore disponibile in due versioni: FR-RJ45-HUB4 con 4 porte RJ-45

    Questo convertitore consente di collegare fino a due convertitori difrequenza ad un personal computer.

    FR-RJ45-HUB10 con 10 porte RJ-45Questo convertitore consente di collegare fino ad otto convertitori difrequenza ad un personal computer.

    Installazione e collegamento

    Cablaggio Se si installa il ripartitore di sistema BUS in un armadio elettrico, fis-

    sarlo al listello laterale. Collegare il personal computer alla presa BUS IN. Utilizzare a tale

    scopo il cavo di collegamento SC-FRPC. Il cavo dispone di un con-vertitore RS232/RS485 integrato.

    Collegare un convertitore di frequenza alla presa Inverter 1. Unire atale scopo la porta PU del convertitore di frequenza e la presa RJ-45del ripartitore con il cavo FR-A5CBL1.

    NOTAPoich il convertitore RS232/RS485 nel cavo di collegamentoSC-FRPC viene alimentato tramite la presa Inverter 1 con una ten-sione di esercizio di +5 V DC, a questa presa deve essere collegatoun convertitore di frequenza.

    Collegare alla presa BUS OUT la resistenza terminale FR-RJ45TR.

    Collegamento al convertitore di frequenzaLimmagine seguente mostra posizione e occupazione della presa per ilcollegamento al ripartitore di sistema BUS in caso di diversi modelli di con-vertitore di frequenza.

    P PERICOLO Prima dellinstallazione, disinserire la tensione di alimenta-

    zione del convertitore di frequenza e le altre tensioni esterne.

    Prima di cominciare linstallazione, attendere almeno 10 minutiaffinch i condensatori possano scaricarsi fino a un valore ditensione non pericoloso dopo il disinserimento della tensionedi rete.

    Il convertitore di frequenza deve essere messo a terra. Lamessa a terra deve avvenire in conformit alle direttive e alledisposizioni di sicurezza nazionali e locali (JIS, NEC sezione250, IEC 536 classe 1 e altre norme).

    Non disinstallare alcun componente la cui disinstallazione nonsia descritta nel presente manuale per non danneggiare il con-vertitore di frequenza.

    E ATTENZIONE Utilizzare il convertitore di frequenza e il ripartitore di sistema

    BUS solo nelle condizioni ambientali riportate nel manuale diistruzioni del convertitore di frequenza. Il convertitore di fre-quenza e il ripartitore non devono essere esposti a polvere,nebbia dolio, gas corrosivi o infiammabili, forti vibrazioni ourti, temperature elevate, condensa o umidit.

    Durante il montaggio, evitare che trucioli di foratura o pezzi difilo penetrino nel convertitore di frequenza attraverso le fes-sure di aerazione causando eventuali cortocircuiti.

    Non toccare le parti sotto tensione del convertitore di fre-quenza come p.e. i morsetti o i connettori.

    Non toccare il convertitore di frequenza quando in funzione opoco dopo il disinserimento della tensione di alimentazione, lasuperficie pu essere molto calda e sussiste il pericolo diustioni.

    Descripcin generalCon ayuda del distribuidor de sistema BUS es posible enlazar variosvariadores de frecuencia a una red RS485 por medio de un cable RJ-45.Con ello resulta posible supervisar y ajustar los parmetros de variosvariadores de frecuencia por medio de un ordenador personal. Eldistribuidor est disponible en dos modelos: FR-RJ45-HUB4 con 4 conexiones RJ-45

    Este distribuidor permite la conexin de hasta dos variadores defrecuencia a un ordenador personal.

    FR-RJ45-HUB10 con 10 conexiones RJ-45Este distribuidor permite la conexin de hasta ocho variadores defrecuencia a un ordenador personal.

    Instalacin y cableado

    Conexin Si el distribuidor de sistema de BUS se instala dentro de un armario

    de distribucin, hay que fijarlo en la brida lateral. Conecte el ordenador personal a la hembrilla BUS IN. Emplee para

    ello el cable de conexin SC-FRPC. Es cable dispone de unconvertidor RS232/RS485 integrado.

    Conecte a la hembrilla Inverter 1" un variador de frecuencia. Unapara ello la conexin PU del variador de frecuencia con la hembrillaRJ-45 del distribuidor por medio del cable FR-A5CBL1.

    INDICACINDado que el convertidor RS232/RS485 del cable de conexinSC-FRPC es alimentado por la hembrilla Inverter 1" con una tensinde servicio de +5 V DC, a esta hembrilla hay que conectar unvariador de frecuencia.

    Conecte a la hembrilla BUS OUT la resistencia de terminacinFR-RJ45TR.

    Conexin a los variadores de frecuenciaLa figura siguiente muestra la posicin y la ocupacin de la hembrilla deconexin al distribuidor de sistema de BUS con los diferentes modelos devariadores de frecuencia.

    P PELIGRO Antes de empezar con la instalacin hay que desconectar la

    tensin de alimentacin del variador de frecuencia y otrasposibles tensiones externas.

    Antes de comenzar con la instalacin hay que esperar comomnimo 10 minutos despus de desconectar la tensin de redcon objeto de que los condensadores tengan tiempo dedescargarse a un valor de tensin no peligroso.

    El variador de frecuencia tiene que estar puesto a tierra. Lapuesta a tierra tiene que satisfacer las prescripciones deseguridad y directivas locales (JIS, NEC seccin 250, IEC 536clase 1 y otros estndares).

    No desinstale ningn componente cuya desinstalacin no estdescrita en estas instrucciones. En caso contrario puederesultar daado el variador de frecuencia.

    E ATENCIN Opere el variador de frecuencia y sistema de distribucin de

    BUS slo bajo las condiciones ambientales indicadas en lasinstrucciones de empleo del variador de frecuencia. El varia-dor de frecuencia y el distribuidor no deben exponerse alpolvo, a niebla de aceite, a gases corrosivos o inflamables, avibraciones fuertes o a golpes, a altas temperaturas, a conden-sacin o a humedad.

    Al realizar el montaje tenga cuidado de que no entren al interiordel variador de frecuencia a travs de las ranuras de ventila-cin virutas de taladrado o restos de cables que podran provo-car despus un cortocircuito.

    No toque ninguna parte del variador de frecuencia que estsometida a tensin, como p.ej. los bornes de conexin o lasconexiones de enchufe.

    No toque el variador de frecuencia ni cuando est conectado nipoco despus de desconectar la fuente de alimentacin. Lasuperficie puede estar muy caliente y existe peligro de quema-duras.
