Husqvarna TrioBrake™ protection system improves safety, efficiency and ergonomics when working with a chainsaw, making it possible to activate the chain break in three different ways. TrioBrake™ encourages a more correct and ergonomic working technique, thereby minimising strain and reducing the likelihood of hazardous situations occurring.

Activation by inertia - If there is a kickback and the tip of the chainsaw bar moves upward very quickly, the chain brake is activated. This happens as the inertia of the front kickback guard prevents it from moving as quickly as the rest of the saw.

Activation with left hand - The saw’s upward movement causes the front kickback guard to come in contact with your left hand.

Activation with right hand - Thanks to a second kickback guard located by the saw’s rear handle, the chain brake can be activated in a third way: by your right hand.
