Sub: - Inter Zonal Table Tennis competition 2017-18 and selection trials cum coaching camp for63rd National School Games 2017-18 in Table Tennis for Delhi school students (allcategories).

Sports Branch, Directorate of Education, Govt. of CT of Delhi intends to organize InterZonal Table Tennis competition 2017-18 and selection trials cum coaching camp for 63rd ationalSchool Games 2017-18 in Table Tennis for Delhi school students (all categories) w.e.f. 27.11.2017onwards at Thyagraj Stadium, Thyagraj Nagar. New Delhi from 10 A.M. onwards as per detailgiven below:-

INTER ZO AL SCHEDULE

Under-14 27.11.2017 Player should be born on or after 01.01.2004 and should(Boys) be a student of upto Class XII but not below Class VI.

Under-I 4 28.11.2017(Girls)

Under-17 29.11.2017 Player should be born on or after 01.01.2001 and should

(Boys) be a student of upto Class XII but not below Class VI.

Under-I 7 30.11.2017(Girls)

Under-19 07.12.2017 Player should be born on or after 01.01.1999 and should(Boys) be a student of upto Class XII but not below Class VI.

Under-19 08.12.2017(Girls)

-Note: Order of play for Inter-Zone Girls AIX, B/Y, Doubles then Reverse and for Boys ABCIXYZ

The Zonal Supervisor I Convener should send the entry of their respective zones in theenclosed prescribed proforma at Annexure-III, duly attested by the competent authority at the abovementioned venue, on the date of competition. The teams I players will have to report in the properplaying kit.

The interested players should send their entry in the enclosed prescribed proforma(Annexure-I), duly attested by the Head of the School at the selection venue. The stamp of theHead of the school on the proforma should be clearly visible and legible. The stamp on the photoof the student should have been affixed in such a manner that the half of it should be on the photoand half on the proforma. The players will have to report in the proper playing kit,

The selected players will represent Delhi Team in 63rd National School Ganles Table TennisUnder-14. 17 & 19 years (Bovs & Girls) category at Vadodara. Gujarat w.e.f. 03.0 l.20 18 to07.01.2018.

(a) The students of Kendriya Vidyalaya not eligible to participate in the selection trial.

(b) The copy of birth certificate of the student, issued by the Municipal Authority within one yearof the birth of the child, is to be enclosed. If it has been issued after one year of the birth ofthe child, then it has to be supported with the orders of the Competent Authority e.g. SDM ofthe area concerned.

(c) In case of need, a student might have to undergo medical examination for age verificationfrom the Govt. hospital.

(d) In case of any dispute, protest can be lodged with protest fees of Rs.500/-, within one hourof completion of the bout. No request would be allowed after the stipulated time.

(e) Decision of the Technical Committee would be final.Contd ... page 3...

(I) Players who are in the same age group category in which they won medals in the 62nd

National School Games and current Delhi State ranking No.1 & 2, also current NationalRanking holder upto 8th are allowed to play directly in the super league stage provided theysubmit their request in writing before the trials. This rule will apply in all age categories.

(g) Players can give trials in same age categories in which they are eligible as per SGFI Rules.

(h) All matches will be played according to the rules of SGFI as best of 5 games.

(i) Only those players who played in Quarter Final in current Delhi State and Inter-Zonal areeligible for selection trials for National School Games.

All the participants should bring their original Date of Birth proof (mandatorily). No playerwill be allowed without ID proof. Please bring original and duly attested individual entryform with recent photograph (as per Annexure-I).

(k) All players should have mandatory AADHAAR Number.

(I) A player can participate in only one age category in that particular year. \')
