Allied Engineers offers a “full turnkey” approach towards a wide range of pipeline integrity programs that assist companies in effectively planning
and implementing asset management strategies ranging from individual line segments to full pipeline systems. Once the baseline integrity
conditions of the pipeline asset are established then our experts prioritize those issues of primary importance to client along with providing a
cost effective method for continued safe and reliable operation of the pipeline system.

VisionTo introduce and implement the latest pipeline
integrity techniques for safe, efficient and cost-effective
operations for
or
ONSHORE, OFFSHORE, PIGGABLE
NON-PIGGABLE PIPELINES.
General OverviewProtection and management of pipeline assets has become a
paramount and mandatory consideration for any organization in the
energy sector. Pipeline operators, therefore, are increasingly
concerned with managing their primary assets to ensure both
competiveness and sustainability in a dynamic environment.
Operating companies are, thereby, responsible for safety, efficiency
and productivity while simultaneously fulfilling the standards outlined
by regulators and shareholders. To fulfil these objectives,
organizations have to adopt integrated strategies that outperform
standard maintenance programs.
Pipeline Integrity Evaluation Benefits:
Maintain safe, reliable operations with an increase in asset availability.
Assess the feasibility of increasing the severity of operations.
Rationalising fabrication flaws found by more rigorous in-service
inspections than those conducted during the original construction.
Re-rating of damaged equipment.
Development of inspection plans and intervals.
Life extension.
Shut-down planning.
Repair planning/schedules/retrieval.
Design of repairs.

Our goal has been to provide complete custom designed integrity management services. This is achieved by forming alliance with specialized
pipeline integrity management companies to provide the client a turnkey solution under one umbrella. Allied Engineers continues to form such
associations to allow inorganic growth for the company.

“Internal Corrosion Direct
Assessment Methodology for
Liquid Petroleum Pipelines”
DETERMINATION OF WATER ACCUMULATION
29, 30, 31Teevens Model
The Teevens model predicts both the liquid holdup and the internal corrosion
rate in two and three phase oil and gas production pipelines. It is able to predict
both the location and liquid hold-up cross-sectional area as a function of distance
and elevation change over discrete distances as dictated by Global Positioning
System (GPS) interval data collected and inputted into the model.
DETERMINATION OF SOLIDS ACCUMULATION
29, 30Teevens Model
This model predicts where solids deposition locations are most likely to occur by
calculating the solids depositional velocity of the material being accumulated. It
predicts solids accumulation as a function of distance and elevation change over
discrete distances, as dictated by global positioning satellite (GPS) interval data
collected and input into the model. The model does not predict the cumulative
amount of the material, nor does it attempt to predict underdeposit corrosion
rate behavior at this time.
CORROSION RATE MODELS
30, 31, 32, 62, 63Teevens Model
The mass transfer model is capable of yielding a general corrosion rate for
uninhibited corroding multiphase or two-phase pipeline systems, where O2,
CO2, and H2S contribute to corrosion of carbon steel pipes. The gas-liquid flow
model was updated mainly from the work of Petalas and Aziz, Taitel and Dukler,
and Barnea. The flow model predicts the flow pattern, liquid holdup, pressure
drop, and friction losses and calculates gas and liquid velocities.

Over the term of our relationship Allied has provided quality services, in a timely manner. Allied has a professional approach and good understanding of the integrity business which helped ExMag deal with unforeseen issues and problems. Allied proved to be extremely f lexible and accommodating when dealing with us, even when the issue was clearly ExMag’s. ExMag values our relationship with Allied and would highly recommend their services to prospective clients."
"Since 2005 (3+ years) for the TPS and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) ‘Total Pipeline Integrity Management Services (TPIMS)’ contract, Allied Engineers our approved Sub contractor have provided and continue to provide the following services for Tuboscope Pipeline Services (TPS), a National Oilwell Varco company. This Integrity Management contract includes 280+ pipelines ranging from 4” to 48” in diameter, out of which 200+ pipelines are non-piggable. Allied conducted code compliant specialized pipeline integrity studies for the non-piggable pipelines, where they were responsible for all aspects of the program that is from field data collection to f inal presentation of report to client. These programs included:
Turnkey Direct Assessment study which included a Pre Assessment, Indirect Inspection and Direct Examination program. Data integration for baseline Risk Assessment study for the complete system Above ground GPS survey for the complete system."
