Intensive Soccer Program in Paraguay
This year the program will be held in Asunción, in the
“Club Cerro Porteño”, one of the greatest Paraguayan
football teams, which is also recognized as one of the
most popular clubs in the country, and considered by
FIFA one of the "classic" teams in the World.
“LA OLLA”
It is one of the three “First Division Paraguayans
clubs”, who have never fallen and the only one
who didn’t fall in the relegation zone.
Dispute the
Paraguayan football
derby, also called
“Superclásico” vs.
Club Olimpia, an
institution with which
it has a great
historical rivalry and
which generates one
of the more
traditional South
American classics.
Also participates in international tournaments.

“SUPERCLASICO”
a) Basic abilities like kicking the ball
with both feet, dribbling, walking
the ball, shooting, etc;
b) Group orientations on positioning,
passing the ball, crossing, corner
kicks, etc.
c) Additional techniques such as,
stealing the ball from the
opponent, group tactical,
blocking, scoring, defending,
attacking, midfielder’s role, etc.
IT AIMS TO HELP PARTICIPANTS DEVELOPING:
The Intensive
Soccer Program
in Paraguay
is opened
to male&
Female
participants.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE PROGRAM:
• Only regular practice of soccer as a
sport.
• No special /above average skills are
required. The program is a training to
improve skills.
• Basic Spanish would be nice, to
enhance interaction with the host
family, but it is not a must.
During the program participants stay in host families and attend soccer
practices mornings and afternoons, Mondays to Fridays for 7 weeks.
PARQUE AZULGRANA (YPANE)
Approximately U$.250-300 for 7 weeks
should be enough. Of course, it all
depends on shopping or other expenses
participants decide to do.
Participants are
placed in the
cities of
Asuncion and
surroundings.
POCKET MONEY FOR THE PROGRAM:
One-day tour around cities of cultural interest near Asuncion:
• Luque, (famous for gold jewelry making)
• Aregua (pottery)
• Itagua (embroidery)
• San Bernardino (summer city by a lake)
