We got, Bro. J. W. AI· ford to oome from North Carolina; and preach in t he bounds of our association duridg the month of August, and gave him $30.00 fur rail road 1are. We employed Re''. J. M . Emanuel to go to Colquitt, Ga., to do Mission work, paid him $12.00 for expenses. We sent Bro. J. G. Harris to preach in Decatur county, Ga., below DonaldsClnville. Bro. Harris organized one church with a membership of 24. We paid B_ro Harr:is $1Q.OO for hjs sen·ice. We a lso paid Bro. W. A. McDonald $P.OO for rail road expenses for mission :work at Ham~k Spring church, from August until October.
