Successful completion of the transition audit for IATF means that the deviations are corrected. The 90 days are to

be taken into account in planning, so the audit date should be scheduled no later than May 2018.

Transition Audit Requirements

Upon conclusion of the transition audit, the organization receives a new

certificate

A new audit cycle begins with the conclusion of the transition audit

A new three-year cycle begins with issuance of the certificate

In addition to the regular audit work on site, transition audits automatically

add a minimum of 0.5. - 1 man-day on site

The additional effort is for the first inspection of the changes relating to

ISO 9001:2015 and the new IATF standard.
