Release force is defined as the force required to
separate a pressure sensitive adhesive coated
material from its backing or protective sheet (or
vice versa) under specified conditions and at a
specified angle and speed.
Internal Method
Speed: 3600 mm/minSpeed: 3600 mm/min
Angle: 180°
Pressure: 2 kg roll weight for four times
Dwell time: within 5 minutes or after 7 days
Contact with release coat:
Factors that determine the properties:
o Temperature of the test
o Adhesive tape
o Weight
o Area
o Pressure

MELTING POINTMP-70
Is the temperature at which a solid
moves from its solid state to its liquid
state at atmospheric temperature.
Method:

SOLUBILITYSolubility is the measurement of a
substance's ability to be dissolved in a
solvent.
Internal Method
-Mix the given amount of solute and solvent in the same container
-Heat and stir the solution on a hotplate -Heat and stir the solution on a hotplate for about 15 minutes at 70°C
-When the solution is clear, let cool it down at room temperature
Factors that determine the properties:
o Temperature of the test
o Solvent
