Identifier handcuffs add permanent color options to this world class design. Identifier colors will not crack, chip or fade. They are a permanent, structural component of the handcuff frame and will last the life of the cuff. Identifier handcuffs can readily distinguish the restraints of specific agencies or divisions. They may be used to designate the security threat or medical condition of subjects. They add the final level of safety to the most secure series of handcuffs on the market. ®TRANSCRIPT
The patented design of ASP Chain and Hinge Handcuffs providesthe safest restraint in the industry. The flat contact surface andsmooth action prevents injury during application. All edges of theframe, cheek plate and bow are rounded to minimize the potentialfor nerve damage. The conical geometry of the cuff securely holdsboth small and large wrists. Flex Frame Technology reduces injurypotential from excessive lateral stress due to improper handcuffapplication. The double lock indicator of ASP cuffs is highly visible.It is easily checked to assure activation. Cuffs that test too tightmay be loosened and double locked without removing the key fromthe cuff. The interchangeable Lock Set may be selectablyupgraded to a two or three pawl insert. The two-sided lock releaseis recessed and easily accessed without trauma to the subject.Both the single and double lock are released by turning the key inone direction.

Two categories of Identifier cuffs are available. The LawEnforcement Series provides both Chain and Hinge TacticalHandcuffs in blue, brown and gray. Corrections Chain and Hingecuffs are offered in high visibility yellow, orange and pink. Customcolors are available with a minimum purchase of 1,000 handcuffs.
