The Mona Plant System wasdeveloped in Sweden over30 years ago after extensiveresearch into the growth andsuccess of plants and treesin an urban environment.

Naturally a plant takes on essentialwater and nutrients from the soil,transporting water through itsroots. It does this through theprocess of capillary action, whichoccurs when the roots absorbingthe liquid are stronger than theforce of gravity. The water is thenpulled through the soil, direct to theplant’s roots absorbing nutrientsfrom the soil on the way. Eachyellow tank in the Mona PlantSystem acts as a water reservoir,

storing water undergroundto provide essential water andnutrients as and when required.The yellow reservoirs containinternal capillary legs that canirrigate the roots of plants sitting150mm above the reservoir andwithin a 400mm diameter. TheMona Plant System provides amore natural pattern of feedingfor the plant resulting in stronger,healthier blooms.

By using the plants natural capillaryaction and allowing the plants to feedand water themselves you gain bigger,stronger and longer lasting plants.Perfect for all types of planters, bothindoor & outdoor, flower beds, windowboxes and hanging baskets. Anenvironmentally friendly product:100% water e"cient and madefrom recycled material in the UK.

There are nine sizes of Plantsavaavailable, each tank can be simplyinstalled at the bottom of the planterwhere it will act as a reservoir andfeed the plant as and when required.The plant will only take on the waterit requires and in optimum conditionswill require refilling once everysix weeks.

Mona Plant System Rings have beeninstalled in many projects across theUK and Europe. Particularly suitablefor interior landscape projects withlarge planter installations. Ensuresquick establishment of plants andhealthy root development, thesystem also provides a more robustsolution to the watering of newlyplanted trees. Installation1. Measure the dimensions of

the rootball or planter andselect the correct size MonaRing. For bespoke sizes pleasecontact the gtspecifiertechnical team.

2. Cover with growing media,ensuring there is a 150mmdepth between roots/rootballand the Mona Plant System Ring

I3. Ensure the upright filler pipe

stands proud of the nurseryline/planter

4. Back-fill with growing mediaand plants as per specification

5. Fill with water until the floatwithin the filler pipe rises tothe fill level

Plantsava Installation1. The Plantsava system comprises

of a reservoir tank, filler pipe, aircap, float and capillary leg.

2. Insert the capillary leg into thecentral hole of the reservoir tank.

3. Place the float inside thefiller pipe.

4. Insert the filler pipe into thesecondary hole within thereservoir tank.

5. Fill the capillary leg(s) with asmall amount of growing media

6. Insert the assembled Plantsavainto the planter, ensuring the topof the filler pipe is level with thetop of the planter.

7. Fill with growing media andplant your choice of plantsensure the depth betweenthe plants roots and top ofthe reservoir is no morethan 150mm.
