IFA Ukraine is the Ukrainian branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). IFA Ukraine is a non-profit organization established in Ukraine in 2007. IFA Ukraine was officially recognized by IFA at the 61st IFA Kyoto Congress during September 2007.

IFA Ukraine is the only organization in Ukraine dealing exclusively with international tax matters.

IFA Ukraine has grown in a short time to over 50 members.

Central IFA

International Fiscal Association (IFA), Netherlands, is the only non-governmental and non-sectoral international organization dealing with fiscal matters over the globe. IFA brings together more than 12,000 practitioners, tax officials and academics from 111 member countries, involved in and concerned with taxation of international transactions and comparative study of tax laws.

Based in Rotterdam, IFA, since its foundation in 1938, has provided, in conjunction with the activities of each country branch, a blend of comprehensive research of international taxation and the development of programs and initiatives of current practical importance.

As you might know, IFA Ukraine, a Ukrainian branch of International Fiscal Association, has well established in Ukraine a unique and neutral platform for representatives of all sectors - business, consulting, governments, the judiciary and universities - to meet and discuss topical issues of international taxation.

To enhance our dialogue with businesses, we have developed our new initiative – IFA Ukraine Business Focused Meetings, designed to cover the tax and legal aspects of cross-border activities of major industry sectors in Ukraine.

Our kick-off seminar will be dedicated to IT industry and will deal with such issues as protection of IP rights, tax and legal structuring, Transfer Pricing, personnel structuring etc. in IT sector.

Fomenko, Viktoriia

Associate, Dentons

Viktoriia Fomenko is an associate in Dentons’ Kyiv office. She specializes in corporate, tax and customs law issues.

Viktoria regularly provides a wide range of local and international tax advice and represents clients in tax and customs litigation.

Viktoriia graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Internal Affairs (Law, 2004) and Kyiv State Trade Economic University (Customs Management, 2000). She speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Voznyuk, Olena

President, IFA Ukraine

Olena is a Tax and Legal Partner at Nexia DK. Olena has more than 12 years of experience in advising multinational and domestic clients on tax structuring of inbound and outbound investments, M&A structuring, pre-acquisition and post-acquisition restructuring, Transfer Pricing etc.

Olena served as a tax partner and senior tax lawyer for the leading Ukrainian law firms. She also worked as tax consultant at PwC Kyiv. In February 2014 Olena was elected as the President of the Ukrainian branch of International Fiscal Association. Olena is a member of the Public Council to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

Podolyak, Vladyslav

Senior Associate, Vasil Kisil & Partners.

Vladyslav Podolyak is primarily focused on litigation. He has successful experience of representing private and corporate clients in labour, family, commercial and administrative court disputes, as well as in product liability cases. He provides comprehensive advice to many national and foreign clients regarding dispute resolution and enforcement proceedings.

Vladyslav Podolyak is data protection expert. He advises clients on privacy compliance procedures in different industries: consumer goods, banking services, Internet-services, and automotive.

He is author of many legal articles in Ukrainian and international printed and online sources.

Andrii Buzhor is Legal Counsel at GlobalLogic. He provides full-fledged legal support to the company’s business continuity process and management of the team of lawyers.

Andrii also specializes in international tax planning, domestic and cross-border tax structuring, day-to-day tax consultancy on Corporate Profit Tax, Value Added Tax and Personal Income Tax issues, tax advisory support to M & A deals, Oil & Gas projects, Renewable Energy projects, Real Estate projects, Business Restructuring projects.

Medvedev, Vadim

Associate, Avellum Partners

Vadim is an Associate with Avellum Partners with the primary focus on the areas of taxation and customs and currency control. He also specializes in general corporate and commercial advice. Vadim regularly advises international and Ukrainian companies on various aspects of their business activities in Ukraine and represents them in the courts and before tax and customs authorities of Ukraine.

Vadim is the member of the working group on VAT reform at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. During 2014 Vadim served as the Co-Chair of the Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.

Vadim is recommended for resolution of international tax disputes in Ukraine (International Tax Review Tax Controversy Leaders Guide 2013 and 2014).

Rudenko, Natalia

Senior Manager, Tax & Legal, Deloitte

Natalia Rudenko is a Senior Manager in Tax & Legal Services in the Kyiv office of Deloitte.

Natalia joined Deloitte back in 2004 and has more than 15 years of experience in corporate law and international taxation. Natalia’s area of specialization includes corporate law and taxation, intellectual property, investment planning, tax restructuring of international and large Ukrainian companies (agriculture, pharma, real estate, TMT, industrial groups), customs consulting, private client services.

Khomenko, Mykola

Tax Manager, MNC

Mykola Khomenko is a tax manager at Cargill. He has over 8 years of professional experience in general corporate and international tax law. Mykola’s background also includes advising on foreign investments, corporate restructuring, cross-border transactions and domestic operations.

Mykola received law degree from National University “Kyiv- Mohyla Academy”, and is currently lecturing at the Academy.

Gadomsky, Dmytro

Partner, Juscutum

Dmytro Gadomsky is an attorney-at-law, partner of IT&Media law at the Juscutum Attorneys Association. Dmytro has handled a number of cybercrime cases, M&A and disputes in the IT sphere. He represented top-tier Ukrainian and international companies such as Yandex, Hosting Ukraine, EX.UA. He also consulted Intel, Melexis, Olympus, Hewlett-Packard, Sony Corp., Nokia, Microsoft, Citibank.
