Class Assignment: Draft an Invitation For Bid (IFB) Project Appraisal Document (PAD)Introduction: Bahria University is a leading national education provider with multi-faceted academic disciplines for graduate and post-graduate classes. Bahria University is a non-profit, privately funded, independently chartered Post-graduate educational institution, established as a Center of Excellence through a legislative act. Approved and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, as a degree granting institution. Bahria University also intends to commence interior development of a newly constructed auditorium in its Islamabad campus. The interior development activities will include installation of a state-ofthe art audio-video system to support a cinematic home theater functionality alongwith interior designing of the auditoriumScope of Activity: Keeping in view the achievements of Bahria University, the Europe AID Bank has shown interest in contributing towards developing the infrastructure of Bahria University for academic excellence. The Bank in this regard, desires to give grant to the said Institution for installing a state-ofthe art home theater system. In this regard the Bank intends to give grant of Rs. 100 million for the intended activity from its Grant Account No. Gr: 4705-Pak, specified for development of Pakistani academic institutions.

IFB Requirements: The procurement and installation of Home theater equipment in the newly constructed auditorium will be done through National Competitive Bidding with no domestic preference for the bidders who have previously performed work of 100% scalability and atleast 80% of the Bid amount in the last 5 years.

The bidder should be able to submit a Bid Security of 2% of the Bid amount in the form of Demand Draft, Pay Order or CDR from a scheduled bank. The bidders are requested to give their best and final price as no negotiation on price will be accepted. The Standard Bidding Documents are to be collected from ASO Office, Room 1, Bahria University Campus, Islamabad on from 9 am to 4 pm on all working days except Saturdays & Sundays from _______. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on______, 2014. Bid submission date is October ________, 2014 at 11:00 AM and Bid opening time is 11:30 AM on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at the above mentioned address at Bahria University Islamabad Campus.
