Guidelines:

   A College can send maximum of 2 entries

   A total of 16 entries would be considered on first come first serve basis  Maximum 2 accompanists are allowed with a participant  Karaoke is not allowed

  An event filled with puzzles, where guessing the product and its right price is achallenge!

   Participants are required to register their teams. The participants will be

provided with a list of cases. They have to choose any one case study and emailus the solution. They will be shortlisted on the basis of the same

“Corporate Walk” – Showcase your Professionalism

“ An event that allows you to exhibit the Corporate in YOU.” 

Guidelines:

  Every team could have members varying from 10 to 16

  Each team would have 8 minutes to walk the ramp   Teams have to coordinate the formations themselves   Team may prepare 2 – 3 rounds on the ramp; Individual/ Group/ Multiple Couple

/ Couple/ Corporate Party Theme etc  It is mandatory for all teams to abide by corporate attire and related details

failing which may lead to disqualification   The purpose of the event is to showcase your professionalism, and it becomes

indispensable to reflect it through your clothing, attitute & sticking to the rules

   Teams may choose Indian/ Western/Indo-western clothes postulating the state-of-the-art professional wear using themes (if necessary)

   Participants may choose to wear shirts/ ties/ coats/ formal jackets/ blazers/ trousers/ skirts (not above knee)

“Goal Maal”-Men‟s Football Match

“Go strong or Go home” Soccer Tournament. 

Give a man a soccer ball, he plays for a moment. Teach a man to play soccer, he playsfor a life time.

 A tournament where 8 teams would clash to conquer the hearts of the people and tobe the Champions of the Tournament.

Guidelines:

  Each match in the tournament would be a knockout match   Teams will be chosen on the first come first served basis , only first 5 teams

would be considered ( the remaining three teams would be the teams from

IGSM, IILM-Lodhi Road and IILM-Gurgaon)   Preliminary matches would be held on 15 th of December.   The semi-finals and Finals would be held on 16 th of December.

  Each game would be played in two equal halves of 15 minutes each (with a breakof 10 or 15 minutes between the halves)

  If no result comes, golden goal rule applies and thereafter penalty shootouts

   All the teams should be in proper uniform and soccer kit i.e. soccer cleats andshin guards

  Each team must consist of maximum 7 players with additional 2 players as the

substitutes (total 9 players)

   Any team arriving 10 minutes late then the time appointed for their matchwould be disqualified and the opposite team would be given a walkover

   Last date for registration is 13th December 2011

 The Photography Club is organizing a Contest for all the Students who like playing 

with their cameras and providing opportunity to showcase their photography skills. So

start capturing creative & talking photographs.

 Themes for the contest are:-

Guidlines:-

  Student can send two picture one on both the themes. (In case of edited picture

original copy should be sent along)

  Selected photographs will be printed by us and would be displayed on photography

board at NGO Fair on 16th DEC 2011.

   Voting for the photos will start by 11 AM and everybody is allowed to vote for just

1 photo on each theme.

   The Photograph which gets maximum votes will get prize.

  Editing is allowed, original copy of the image should also be sent along.

“Dalal Street” – Virtual Stock Market Game

If you don‟t know jewellery, know the jeweller.

Experience the feel of a magic house (the stock market) here with the real entities of 

 the market. The one who makes the maximum profit would be our very own magnate,

Mr Warren Buffet (the winner).

 The best fantasy stock market trading platform.

Guidelines:

   A College can send maximum 1 entry.

  Every team must comprise of 3 members each.

   Three teams from the I.I.L.M would be inducted.    The teams would be screened through a preliminary round, which would be a

quiz.

   The quiz would consist of 20 questions which are to be answered in 30 minutesof time.

   The shortlisted teams would be declared within an hour‟s  time.

“Counter Strike 1.6” 

Counter Strike is a first-person shooter game consisting of two teams namely

 terrorists and counter-terrorists respectively. Each round is won by either completing   the mission objective; either defusing or planting of a bomb at specified locations,rescuing hostage or eliminating the opposing force. A game designed to test you teamspirit and strategy formation.

Guidelines:

   A College can send maximum 1 entry.

  Each team can have a maximum of 5 players.   There will be 20 rounds (race to 11 rounds) from first round onwards and 30

rounds (race to 16 rounds) in the final match.  No cheat codes are allowed. If any sought of cheating is found by any player in

a team, the entire team will be disqualified on the spot.

   All players are requested to carry their own mice, mouse pads and headsets.   Registration on the spot  Registration fees per team: - Rs. 200

Crazy products. Crazy teams. Crazy marketing. Brand Rovers give you the opportunity to showcase your creative and innovative skills in its craziest event. Those of you whoclaim to be marketing geniuses have now got their chance to prove their ground.Come one, come all, cast your spell on us, and make us spellbound. And what‟s more,

we will reward you for it. Brand Rovers present the all new Ad Mingles which promises to be more insanely fun than ever!

Guidelines:

   A College can send maximum of 2 entry. First come first serve basis.

   There should be minimum 3 and maximum 5 contestants in each team.  Every team must prepare a skit/ad to be acted out on stage. The ad should be

based on a fictional product of a fictional brand. Jingles are a requirement.

  Innovative taglines, posters and props are encouraged, but not mandatory.    Participants would be marked on Originality, Innovation, and Creativity & 

 Presentation.

    Total time for each performance including setup would be 10 minutes. Therewill be negative marking if the time limit exceeds.

  Obscenity is strictly prohibited.

   Teams can choose their own topics based on hypothetical situations for thescreening.

“The Run” - Need for Speed Most Wanted

 This year in i-Fest 2011, IT club- Technorion‟s will be hosting event on popular game

NFS (Need for speed). Game will be played on Computers connected through LAN

network, primarily for multiplayer facility.

Guidelines:

  4 players will play in a round; winner will qualify for next round.

  Computer system will be provided by IT Club.   Rounds will consist of circuit, sprint races.  It is possible that game mode might change.   Rules are subjected to change without any prior notice.  Decisions by the organizers will be final.

“Thesaurus Hunt” - Discover The Treasure Beneath… 

 The traditional game of treasure hunt we played as kindergarten kids. Let‟s play this

  game management style and find the hidden treasure by solving clues with sheerreasoning and logic. It is going to check your analytical skills and team coordination.

Guidelines:

  This is an intra campus competition for IILM only

   A College can send maximum 2 entries

   Time limit: 90 minutes for Gurgaon students, 100 minutes for Lodhi Road andNoida campus

  Mobile phone not allowed during 100 minutes of Treasure hunt

  Clues will be hidden within the premises of Gurgaon campus   Whichever team first discovers the treasure would be the winner

  Bring out the actor inside you and design a play on issues that need to be

addressed. Show your originality and ingenuity with the screenplay and dialogues.

Guidelines:

“GROUP DANCE” 

Guidelines:

   A college can send maximum 2 entries.

   The time limit for a performance is 6-8 minutes

   The minimum number of participants should be 8 and maximum 12

   Props are allowed (safety measures should be taken), the props & stage setup

should be brought by respective teams

  Each team should have 2 Audio CDs as back-up

   The team has to report 2 hours before the event

  No halts would be permitted between the performances; music once stopped

would indicate the performance to be over

   The team will be evaluated on the basis of Energy level, Choice of songs,

Choreography, Costumes & Props, Coordination & Overall stage presence

   Last date for registration: 14th December, 2011

   Prizes to be won: Rs. 9000/- (1st prize), Rs. 5000/- (2nd prize)

“Band-0-Mania” - Rock Band

Come on up and rock the stage as it will be surely MORE than just a competition. Getcrazy, make tunes and groove the crowd only at I- Fest ‟11.

Guidelines:

   A college can send 1 entry

   There should be minimum 4 and maximum 7 contestants in each group  Members of the band should be from the same college.

   You must designate the artists, songs, band mates, instruments, and difficultylevels at the time of registration

   Band will get 25 minutes on stage including sound check

    You mayNOT change band members after registering and make sure all yourpotential band mates arrive on time on the day of competition   You must come up with a band name

  Every attempt to keep your song selection private (until your performance) willbe made so that you can have maximum reveal impact

   Your band will be setup up on stage based on the entry details you provide

  NO restarts would be allowed  Maximum no. of teams allowed 8. First come first serve basis.   Last date for registration: 14th December, 2011

   Prizes to be won: Rs. 10,000/- (1st Prize), Rs. 5000/- (2nd Prize)
