SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 27 August 2017

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: Thank you for being a member of our parish family. You are among the 3200 people who join us every Sunday to worship God and to par cipate in the renewing grace of the Eucharist. Our Annual Report 2016–2017 shows that we provide many different ministries to serve you in our call to be disciples. Your consistent generosity and regular recordable (check, envelope, online giving) contribu ons to the Sunday Offering allows us to provide many ministries. Your offerings provided a 2016-2017 Total Opera ng Income of $1,711,465. For a balanced Annual Report, funds from the Septemberfest fundraiser and our T-Mobile Lease Account totaling $84,504 were used for Opera ng Income (which would normally be deposited into Savings) to cover expenses. To meet our projected 2017-2018 Total Opera ng Expenses of $1,831,050 with increased costs for u li es, salaries/benefits/pensions, and ALPHA/evangeliza on, etc., I need your help. We have not increased our Sunday Offering contribu on goal for four years. So, to meet our expenses we have increased our Sunday Offering goal to $25,500 which is a 3% increase over what we currently receive. This will help with our important ministries for an ac ve and growing parish. Please consider an increase to your Sunday Offering. Your generosity truly makes a difference and is appreciated. Thank you for your commitment to our Parish.

May God reward you for your generosity.

Father Jerome T. Karcher, Pastor

“Let us be concerned for each other, to stir a response in love and good works.” Hebrews 10

This year marks the 25th anniversary of our Society of St. Vincent de Paul parish ministry. Formed in 1977 with the start-up of the parish, the parish Conference was officially aggregated in April of 1992. One of the oldest charitable organizations in the world, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization of more than 800,000 men and women throughout the world who join together to grow spiritually and offer person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in 150 countries. At our parish, 24 members respond to over 430 calls for assistance throughout the year, visit over 75 families in their homes, help pay utility bills for nearly 130 households, and give over 2,550 bags of groceries to people that come to our food pantry. Thank you for your continuing prayers, support and generosity.
