District 42 ConventionOn May 2-4, 2008 seven 7 members ofIgniters Toastmasters attended a fun-filled weekend at the District 42convention in Edmonton. Friday eveningToastmasters members were dressedup in their traditional ethnic dressrepresenting countries from across theworld.

Saturday wasfilled withEducationalSessions,fantastic foodand cheering onNandini duringthe internationalspeech contest.

The quality of each of the internationalspeeches was incredible. Theevaluation contest was held earlySunday mIgniters' veryown EdenNeufeld sas the testspeaker forcontest. Afantastic timwas had by allvisiting oldfriends,meeting newfriends, learning valuable new skills andsharing ideas for both personal and clubimprovements.
