Dear participants,
2nd Congress for Wound Management, presents all modern operating and non-
operating methods in treatment of chronic wounds. Emphasis of conference is on
the application of antiseptics in the prevention of wound infections and
intrahopsital infections. Also, the application of "natural medicine", wherein the
source of treatment are the nature and the human - stem cells, gene and cellular
therapy, cell growth factors, molecular hydrogen, implementation of operational
and biostimualtory lasers, oxygen, hyalurone, collagen, platelet gel, magnetic
therapy, hirudin, skin grafts ... The emphasis is on regenerative medicine and
revitalizing tissues and personalized treatment, adapted to each patient, which
enable scientific discoveries and new technologies. Particularly important, the
Congress of wound healing that was held in 2012 in Belgrade, gave impetus to open
the specialized clinic and the department of wound healing which is a positive
trend in organized and specialized work in the field of medicine.
