Many people find it difficult to see the difference between summative and formative assessment. The same results or evidence can be used by different people for both purposes. They are however quite different as they involves teachers and students asking very different questions about themselves and about what they should do next.

15 دقيقة - للثلاث شرائح التالية يقوم المدرب بعرض تعريف للهدف. يقوم المدرب بالتأكيد على أهمية استخدام التقييم المسبق ومصادر أخرى للأدلة. يدعو المشاركين لتبادل الافكار حول مصادر الأدلة ذات الصلة. يؤكد المدرب على أن جميع أشكال التقييم التي تجري في المدرسة سوف تسهم في عملية تحديد الأهداف،، مثل ... اتخاذ قرارات مستنيرة عبر التقويم البنائي والتقييم النهائي فريق دعم التعلم: خطة التعليم الفردية، خطة التعليم المتقدم التقييم من أجل التعلم: التباين بين معايير أطر العمل التغذية الراجعة تبادل المعلومات مع سائر المعلمين (مثل معلمي المناهج المقدمة باللغة العربية والمناهج المقدمة باللغة الإنجليزية، ومعلمي المواد الأخرى، والاختصاصين الاجتماعيين) ينبغي أن تشتمل الأهداف على: 1. السلوك : الفعل الذي تتم ملاحظته، ما يجب على الطالب القيام به لإظهار إتقانه للمهمة (مثل "ما هي الحروف الابجدية") 2. الشروط : شروط التي يتوقع أن يحدث ذلك السلوك من خلالها(مثل "التوجيه الشفوي، اذكر الحروف الأبجدية من ذاكرتك") 3. معايير الأداء المقبول: إلى أي مدى سيتمكن الطالبمن أداء العمل (مثل " ... في ثلاثين ثانية مع 100% دقة")

What is a target?A target is a quantifiable change in performance level to be attained within a specified time.

Targets:• are inextricably linked to baseline data/prior assessment, appropriate

success criteria and actions. • should be expressed in terms of improved outcomes and attainment for

learners. • should be quantifiable or measurable. (It’s very difficult to determine

whether a target has been met if it is not explicit!)

Targets are sometimes called behavioural, instructional or performance objectives. They should describe the knowledge, skills or understanding that a student is expected to have by the end of a particular time period.

Invite participants to share ideas on relevant sources of evidence. all forms of assessment carried out in the school will contribute to the Target setting process such as… Making Informed Decisions through Formative and Summative Assessment LST : IEP, ALP, AfL Differentiation Feedback Information sharing with other teachers (e.g. AMT, EMT other subject teachers, Social worker) Targets should include: 1. Behaviour: the observable action; what the student must do to demonstrate mastery of the task (e.g. “say the alphabet”) 2. Conditions: the conditions under which that behaviour is expected to occur (e.g. “given the oral direction, say the alphabet from memory”) 3. Criteria for Acceptable Performance: to what extent the student will be able to perform the action (e.g. “…in thirty seconds with 100% accuracy”)

Make the lesson more purposeful for students by setting targets at the beginning about what the teacher and class are going to do.

These can be referred to through the lesson and/or revisited in the plenary

ويعد هذا مثالًا حيث تستخدم كل بطاقات الأهداف بفعالية.
