I have the great pleasure of serving as the IMA President for the 2017-2018 school year. Thank you for all of the support you give toward the cause of IMA. We love visiting with you and seeing you at IMA events and socials. We know those of you who attended our first technical meeting with Brady Murray walked away with powerful tools regarding personal and professional development. We are looking forward to our technical meeting this month with Darren Benson and Jeff Fielding from Strata Fund. You will not want to miss this event! My participation in IMA has been a game changer. It has helped me learn about different career paths, network with students, beef up my resume, gain valuable leadership experience, obtain scholarships, perform valuable service, prepare for the workplace, and develop the deep satisfaction of participating in the incredible global professional organization that IMA is! I am grateful to be part of the School of Accountancy program which continues to be ranked in the “Top 50” graduate and undergraduate programs in the 2017 Public Accounting Report and to be part of IMA. On behalf of the IMA Student Chapter officers, we wish you success in your classes and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events. - Jacob Smith UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY OCTOBER 2017 EDITION Aubree Matheson is from Clearfield Utah and is a Junior studying accounting.
