FUNCTIONALITY


Functionality – Design

The Image Capsule takes a still photo, graphic, image or infographic and turns it into an interactive platform that allows you to tell a story and increase engagement.

What makes the Image Capsule unique is that it can be updated at ANY time while in distribution.


Functionality – TagsWhen a viewer moves his/her mouse over the image (or touches the image on a tablet or smart phone), the tags appear.

Each tag is completely customizable and allows for a point of interaction.

Tags can contain video, images, links, social sharing, slide shows, transactions and/or any other digital content.

Hovering over a video tag shows the “play” function and a description of the video.

Clicking on that image opens a video player inside the Image Capsule that plays the video.

Once the viewer has watched the video, he/she closes the video player and is back inside the capsule able to continue further interaction.

The Image Capsule lets you take your base image and share other images.

Additional images help tell the story and extend the engagement.

You can add a caption to give more detail.

Clicking on an image opens the image where it’s hosted on the web.

Direct links to web pages, documents, presentations and links to other related content can be placed on the image to highlight features, and tell the story.



Each link can give more information, and take the viewer deeper into your content.

Functionality – Transaction / Call to Action

The Image Capsule provides an opportunity to direct the viewer to complete a transaction, buy your product, sign up for an event or mailing list, register for a course, get more information, or any other call to action that makes sense for the brand.

Clicking on the transaction window will take you to a web page that allows you to complete that transaction.


Functionality – “Like” Facebook Page

Viewers can “like” your Facebook page directly from the Image Capsule. When they hover over the Facebook tag, a box appears that allows them to click “like” without leaving the capsule.

Viewers can follow you on Twitter directly from the Image Capsule. When they hover over the Twitter tag, a box appears that allows them to follow you without leaving the capsule.

SHARING - DISTRIBUTION


Sharing

One of the most important features of the Image Capsule is its ability to be shared easily via social media, email, and embedding to blogs and websites. There is a “Share Image” tag on every capsule.

Clicking on the “Share Image” tag opens a interactivity box that makes sharing the Image Capsule easy.

Clicking on the Facebook icon opens a Facebook sharing page that is familiar to the user and allows them to post an update directly to their wall.

Users can enter their own text.

Post is shared to user’s Facebook Profile.

Clicking on the Twitter icon opens a Twitter sharing page that allows them to send a Tweet. Tweet is then posted

to user’s Twitter feed.

Clicking on the Pinterest icon opens a Pinterest sharing page that allows them to create a pin on their selected board.

Clicking on the Google+ icon opens a Google+ sharing page that allows the viewer to post directly to their stream.

Sharing a direct link to the Image Capsule is easy from the share window. Viewers simply copy the link and send it to anyone or use it anywhere.

Embedding the Image Capsule to a blog or website is easy from the share window. Viewers copy the embed codes and paste them into their blog or website.
