SEASON OF ADVENT / ADVIENTO Advent is the beginning of the liturgical year, which consists of a time of preparation to celebrate the birth of Christ. Its duration is from 21 to 28 days, with the celebration of 4 Sundays prior to Christmas. One of the ways to celebrate this time of preparation is by giving us the opportunity to reconcile ourselves with God, with our neighbors and with ourselves. If you want to be recon-ciled during this time, please speak with one of the priests, and we also have Confessions on Saturdays at 4:30pm.
