All travellers must be able to provide the following documentation when travelling to SA – Foreign Travellers • Valid passport and valid long-term temporary residence visa • Proof of business activities to be undertaken in the Republic • Proof of travel itinerary • Proof of address or accommodation in the Republic • Valid medical/travel insurance and proof thereof • Negative COVID test 72 hours prior to your departure to South Africa South African Travellers • Valid South African passport • Valid medical/travel insurance and proof thereof • Negative COVID test 72 hours prior to your departure to South Africa The identified high-risk countries, which will be updated every 2 weeks by the DHA, prohibits leisure travellers from entering South Africa. Those who wish to undertake business travel to South Africa may apply in writing to the Minister demonstrating reasons for travel to the Republic and once approval has been granted, they may pro- ceed with travel arrangements.
