ImmPRINT’s Purpose

• Record immunization practices & rates in Alabama

• Resource to ensure patients remain current & up-to-date (UTD)

• Determine immunization disparities & needs

• Identify at-risk persons/populations (i.e. outbreaks & emergencies)

ImmPRINT Basic Knowledge

Technical

• Google chrome web browser

• Detail the problem

• Who (user), which (site), when (date/time), & what (task/problem)

• Provide screen shots when possible

• Address 1 issue per email

Alabama Adolescent Vaccine Task Force (AAVTF)

• Began after SJR 113 passed in March and Dr. Melinda Wharton, CDC, visited AL in April

• Partners meet quarterly to discuss how to increase rates

• 4 Work Groups being formed– Provider education– Parent Education– Data– Policy, including alternative providers

Pharmacy’s Role

• Educate staff and customers on vaccines, especially HPV

• Administer Tdap, HPV, and MCV vaccine to adolescents aged 9-18 years of age

• Enroll and enter vaccines into ImmPRINT

• Join AAVTF to provide support and ideas to increase adolescent vaccine rates
