Import of qPCR template (created by GENEIO) into the qPCR

instrument: 7500 Fast Software V2.0.6 (Applied Biosystems)

1. Select »Advanced Setup«

2. On the top select which instrument you are using (7500 or 7500 Fast).

3. Click »File« � »Import«

4. Click »Browse«

5. Browse for the qPCR template (output from GENEIO) in the folder where you saved it

(e.g. USB stick) and click »Select«

6. Click »Start import«

7. Click »Plate Setup« to see the result of the import: defined and assigned targets and

samples

8. Click »Run method« and manually set the cycling conditions before clicking »START

RUN«

Export of qPCR results from the qPCR instrument: 7500 Fast

Software V2.0.6 (Applied Biosystems) for the import to GENEIO

1. In the Analysis section select Target to analyse and click »Analyse Settings« (top right)

to define Threshold and Baseline according to GENEIO Guidelines.

2. Check all curves before clicking »Export«

3. Select »Results« and .txt format

4. Select location for exported file (e.g. USB stick) and click »Open«

5. Click »Start Export«

6. Close Export Tool. Import generated file into GENEIO in the step Outputs&Inputs.

GENEIO will automatically ignore extra wells that do not belong to this specific

experiment.
