Its high speed Fiber Internet technology with the stability of C Internet ensures seamless viewing of high-definition Full HD movie. It also ready to support new technologies. Board of Directors, Executives, Staffs and Employees, both from central and regional area, participated in signing declaration for “CAT transparency organization, come together for Anti-Corruption” under the Announcement of Anti-Corruption Policy Activity, to be consistent with the government policy and the anti-corruption measures of the Office of National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). 3 The company signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 15 agencies for the establishment of Innovation Park under Phuket Smart City project. The company signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 15 agencies for the establishment of Innovation Park under Phuket Smart City project. The Innovation Park project is intended to be a place to promote and develop innovation and learning of Smart City technology

in Phuket. It is also a place to promote investment and provide business consulting in Digital Economy for Andaman Region provinces.

The company exhibited the greatest telecommunication service potential of the year, CAT network Showcase 2016, under the theme of THE NEXT Digital Infrastructure. The event showcased the potential of telecommunication services in all forms, which is a part in leading

Thailand into the group of developed countries who can use digital technologies for sustainable creation of economic values and social values according to the government’s roadmap.

The company developed a new solution called “CAT e-Learning Solutions” by applying relevant services including CAT conference, CAT e-Learning, CAT e-Entertainment, and CAT chat to create the new dimension of integrated online education system, in order to support the

overall teaching and learning of the organizations in digital age such as educational institutes/tutor schools, human resources development and internal training of the organization. This allows all sizes of public and private organizations who would like to adopt ICT in the organization to be able to drive businessmore efficiently, reduce complexity, save time, reduce costs and increase security with standard system from CAT. CAT e-Learning Solutions focuses on providing a 24-hours one-stop learning center.

The company received a plaque from the Prime Minister Gen. Prayuth Chan-Ocha, as CAT was the founder of USO NET Center

within the 21st Infantry Regiment to extend learning opportunities and promote development of IT competency to the Department’s staff. This was on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s visit to preside over the opening ceremony of the 84th Anniversary of HM Queen Sirikit Building at the 21st Infantry Regiment, Chonburi province.

The company participated during the welcome of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in the occasion that HRH presided over the opening ceremony of the “ITU Telecom World 2016”. General Prayuth Chan-Ocha, the Prime Minister and Head of National Council for Peach and Order (NCPO) attended the welcome and reported to HRH on the “ITU Telecom World 2016” which was a

showcase of cutting-edge telecommunications technology innovation from leading local and international organizations.

9 The company organized activities to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s mercy as follows:

- Attended the chanting ceremony during the royal funeral of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Dusit Throne Hall in the Grand Palace;

- Published 100,000 books which contain collection of HM’s photos, Royal Guidance, Royal Address for distribution to people throughout the country through CAT’s nationwide Customer Service Centers. It’s also available for download as e-Pocket Book;

- Distributed 20,000 copies of painting of HM in A3 size, 4 colors, 3 styles to general public at Na Phra Lan post office;

- Installed WiFi signal within the Grand Palace, and 30 radio-communication equipments to be used in the ceremony of royal funeral for a period of 1 year;

- Provided high-speed Internet access with 6 computers at the administrative Tent, and provided free WiFi in the area around Sanam Luang to facilitate the general public participated in the ceremony;

- Hold a vow and sang the Royal Anthem with the Thai people in the activity “Combining the power of loyalty”;

- Received donation for black clothes in the “United in love and mourning to the father of the land” project, to distribute to those who lack in the wilderness.

10 11The company collaborated to be the sole telecommunication service provider (Exclusive) within Show DC project, the first luxury and entertainment complex in Thailand under the

concept of Shop & Enjoy on Rama 9 road. This was another step of CAT’s expansion into the shopping center market, with its core capabilities of comprehensive telecommunications services, which was the existing resource that can be used to create value and maximize value to the organization.

The company s igned MOU wi th Axiata Business Services Sdn Bhd on its Smart Service Development and Testing Agreement to find a common way to test Smart Services that apply to

the Internet of Things through the Internet in order to support and develop information communication network. During the test, there will be knowledge sharing, training and development of CAT personnel on developing and using of Smart Service system.

The company received an evaluation certificate of energy conservation building design for new building under “Coordinating Center for Energy Conservation Building Design Management Project”, and received a Plaque for participating in the project from

Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE).

The company cooperated with the Communications Authority of Thailand Savings Co-operative Ltd (CAT SC) in the rental project for the Disaster and Recovery Center (DRC), a project designed to manage the continuity of IT system as

well as to back up and restore information of CAT SC to support in case of emergency. This was to ensure that important information of CAT SC will be recovered in a timely manner with the most current information. The signing was the continuous signing from the contract since 2013.

The company in conjunction with the Ministry of Finance introduced “GovConnect 4.0” Service System platform under G-Connect brand, a state-of-the-art government management software supporting operations in various dimensions including finance and human resource management, interconnection and collaboration between government sector, private sector, and people sector with innovative technology.
