WSC 2015 Presentation Night

The club’s annual presentation dinner was another big success last

Saturday night. More than 130 swimmers, their families and coaches had a great night with Jayson Lamb in top entertaining form.

The theme of the evening was a thank you to parents for everything they do to support their swimmers. Club leaders Meg Flaherty,

Hannah Justin, Thomas Buckley and Jamin Baulch each made short speeches on behalf of all swimmers to thank parents for everything

they do for them at home, for training and for competitions. Nothing about the sport of swimming would happen without parents!

There were also fabulous slide show presentations about the recent Tassie trip and the Mystery Bus trip from September last year

(produced by Gabby Good) and Paul Aberline spoke about the 18 and over trip to Sydney earlier this year. There were also lots of spot

prizes, trophy presentations and certificates for swimmers.

Paul Aberline was awarded life membership for more than 25 years to service to the sport of swimming and more than 20 years of service to our club. Congratulations Paul!
