IN LOVING MEMORY OF WERNER STRAUBby Judith Ann Heyd Kelle
A village leader known to all,Whose hundred years stood broad and tall,
Has left this world', to Heaven flown,Rewarded therefor deeds he's sown.
A legend in his time, was he;An icon through a century.
He cared for those whose souls had flown; Those souls now claim him as their own.
Goodbye to Werner, in God's flock,Where time eternal knows no clock.Someday we'll meet him, by and by,Among the clouds in God's blue sky.
