Crash Victim IONA MAE WATKINS, 19-year- * old 1936 graduate of the Wells- boro High School, who died early Sunday following an automobile accident near Williamsport. Three companions were hurt. The funeral will be held at the Wat- kins home at Coolidge Hollow, Pa., Wednesday at 2 p. m. with burial in Wellsboro. Boy Burned As Flames Level Home Addison — Gravely burned In a fire that destroyed the Beeman Hol- low home of his parents at 6 p. m. Tuesday, Wilber Ogden, 7, is In the Corning Hospital. Harry Ogden, the boy's father, had gone to the barn and his mother was on the first floor when the fire, of undetermined origin, broke out in the kitchen. The boy was asleep on the second floor. Before he could be carried to safety the youngster received ex- tensive burns. He was given first aid treatment at Addison before being removed to the hospital. The loss is estimated at about $3,000. A email amount of insur- ance was carried on the house. The contents were not covered. The Ogden farm is about five miles 1 northwest of Addison. Crash Victim

IONA MAE WATKINS, 19-year-* old 1936 graduate of the Wells­boro High School, who died early Sunday following an automobile accident near Williamsport. Three companions were hurt. The funeral will be held at the Wat-kins home at Coolidge Hollow, Pa., Wednesday at 2 p. m. with

burial in Wellsboro.

Boy Burned As Flames Level Home

Addison — Gravely burned In a fire that destroyed the Beeman Hol­low home of his parents at 6 p. m. Tuesday, Wilber Ogden, 7, is In the Corning Hospital.

Harry Ogden, the boy's father, had gone to the barn and his mother was on the first floor when the fire, of undetermined origin, broke out in the kitchen.

The boy was asleep on the second floor. Before he could be carried to safety the youngster received ex­tensive burns. He was given first aid treatment at Addison before being removed to the hospital.

The loss is estimated at about $3,000. A email amount of insur­ance was carried on the house. The contents were not covered. The Ogden farm is about five miles

1 northwest of Addison.

Sailors say port wine, which takes its name from Porto, Portu­gal, gave the name "port" to the left side of ships because early red lanterns had the tawny color of port.
