In Today’s Readings

Advent is a time for us to prepare to celebrate

Christ’s coming into this world as one of us, as a

baby boy, born of a woman. It is also a time

to prepare again a place in our hearts and a place in our world for Christ. David took it upon him-self to provide a better dwelling place for the ark

of God. Mary agreed to be the dwelling place for God’s Son. We too are called to prepare a dwell-

ing place in our hearts for Christ so that Christ is again made manifest in the world today, a world

that dearly needs his presence.

Question of the Week

How can I take the gift of Jesus that I have been given and share this gift with others?

St. Jerome Camporee

Christmas Mass Guide

Registration has begun for the 2018 SJC. The

camping and activities will be on the weekend

of March 9th. Please complete the

registration packet and have it turned in with

the fees by January 15,

2018. The Camporee will be a family event, and will be an excellent way to make some great memories

and have some good old fashioned fun. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Thoms at

[email protected]

EDGE/Lifeteen

Are you looking for a way to get involved, and provide service to the St. Jerome community? The Edge/Lifeteen ministry

could greatly benefit from your help! They meets Wednesday nights 6:30-8:30 and could use some extra help. We prepare meals for the Edge and Life Teen kids every Wednesday, so help preparing the food before hand is very much needed. We also would love to have help running the nights. If you would like more information or are interested in joining, please contact Kaitlin Howton at [email protected]

Also, class will NOT be held on 12/27 or 1/3/18 Classes will resume on January 10th! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
