• Bharti Foundation

– Bharti Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Group Companies.

– The prime objective is to bridge the existing education divide and make quality education accessible to underprivileged children in rural India.

– The Foundation aims to help underprivileged children and young people of our country realize their potential.

• Satya Bharti School Program

– The Satya Bharti School Program is the flagship program of Bharti Foundation.

– It aims to deliver free quality education to underprivileged children, with special focus on the girl child across rural India.

– Present Operational Status:

• Number of Schools Operational: 254

• States of Operation: West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Tamil Nadu

• Number of Students Enrolled: Over 38,000

Introduction

About the Community

• Geographical Location:

Achrol is situated in Amer block of Jaipur district. It is 30 Km far from the Jaipur.

• Cultural Background:

It is semi urban area where is urbanization is in process. Mostly people does labor work.

• Role of Satya Bharti School in the Village:

Satya bharti school cover’s a big enrollment in school of this area and providing quality education to the marginalized section of society.

• Participation in ‘Design for Giving’ School Contest: Good participation of community children to decrease the out of children ratio in community

Need identification:

• 95%above s.c. community so our children make a plan for aware education

• We felt sex worker’s children’s do not have no school in area

• So we add to school their children

• Harijan community are not send our children in school

• We expect that the no. of out of school children are more in our community

We ‘Felt’:

• Role play on how it effect whole family members.

• Awareness rally for increase education

• Role play

• Signature campaign

• To understood labor work and other illiteracy member

• Door to door serve

• Proper home visit in community

We ‘Did’:

• Community member are prepare in our children daily in school• Leader are also campagin in community for aware education• 5th class student will make their parents learn how to do signature.• Persons have been identified who will be responsible within the

community to bring those childrens to school who are in the out of school survey.

Impact on Community:

• Students show their sensitivity on importance of education among the communities which is necessary in the present scenario for the growth of the children.

The Road Ahead…..(in the next 3 months)

Who Participated:

•All students of class 4th and 5th class took participation in all the actives which was organized during the education awareness campaign.

•All the school staff along with the community members, local resource person also took part in the activity.
