Welcome to Austria at HOFEX 2015

The Alpine Republic of Austria in Europe has developed into a recognized gourmet country over the past years. With top quality and exceptionally natural taste, Austria's food and drinks industry has managed to position itself not only on top of the European markets, but caters successfully to the taste of the Asian palates in recent years. The strong increase in Austrian food exports of +27 % to Hong Kong and +32% to China in 2014 underlines the success “Made in Austria”. 2015 certainly will be an exciting year.

Austrian food and drinks manufacturers are known in European and international markets for their individuality and for taking the lead in highest quality standards. Key factors for the success are constant innovation in products and methods, first class quality, well trained staff and professionally managed brands. Thus more and more high-price luxury products are being exported to Hong Kong, with consumers across Asia ready to pay appropriate prices for top quality and exceptional taste. This year at HOFEX 2015 we showcase some of Austria’s finest.
