Description

GeneralThis specification describes theE1005 indicator, capable ofstand-alone operation, or ofintegration into a larger systemvia serial interface.

It is a microprocessor-basedindustrial weighing system with upto 100,000 displayed incrementsfor analysing, displaying, storingand transmitting gross and netweight information.

Up to four analogue load cells tobe connected with the indicator.The E1005 can be matched toalmost any load cell system toachieve optimum accuracy,stability and repeatability.

The indicator can control itssurrounding process usingconfigurable outputs.

I/O operation

All these characteristics arestored in non-volatile memory sothat once the ideal parameters forany given weighing system areestablished they can be retainedwith certainty for the future.

Once the scale is set up asrequired, a calibration report canbe printed showing weighingdetails (useful for the installationengineer). This allows the state ofthe system to be monitored.

One PLU is provided for simpletotalising and storage of user-defined parameters.

Trips

The indicator has three internalnon-sequencing trips as standard,logic level rated.

Using the external TIU3, thesewill switch mains voltage(240 V 2 A). Internal inputs arerated at logic levels.

The trips can be set to activate anoutput based on a given weighttarget.

All configuration information isretained when power is off.

Real Time Clock

The E1005 is fitted with a realtime clock which allows the userto display and print the time anddate. This clock is battery-backedand will remain functional in theabsence of mains power.
