The Course
IndiGo is the foremost low-cost airline operating out of India and is working with L3 Airline Academy to bring you this Cadet Pilot Program.
Selected by IndiGo from day one, you will embark upon a unique route of training. Successful completion of training and the final checks by IndiGo will take you directly to the role of Junior First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft, flying IndiGo domestic and international routes.

Note: On successful completion of the USA FAA training, you will return to India to complete your USA FAA conversion (to Indian DGCA) at a DGCA approved training facility. Successful completion of this phase will lead to the issue of an Indian DGCA MECPL/IR.

The funding required for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program comprises:
> Online test and assessment fee
> USA FAA License training– USD86,000 inclusive of taxes
> Indian DGCA License conversion – USD 10,000 inclusive of taxes (approximately INR 6,50,000 depending upon exchange rate)
> A320 type rating – USD 39,000, inclusive of taxes. Location – AATC Bangkok
What’s included
> All L3 Airline Academy training, equipment, uniform and airfield fees
> Accommodation for the duration of training with L3 Airline Academy
> Regulatory exam and skills test fees*
> Initial USA FAA and Indian DGCA conversion CPL/MEIR License issue fee
*fees only cover first attempt. If you need to retake you will have to pay for any further attempts
To apply for the L3 Airline Academy IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program you must meet the following requirements:
> Must be between 18 and 32 years of age > Have a valid passport and the unrestricted right to live and work in India, with the ability to travel unrestricted worldwide> Fluent in English (verbal and written) > Able to produce a Criminal Record Check (CRC) Basic Disclosure Certificate and pass all IndiGo referencing checks> Able to obtain and maintain Indian DGCA and FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate> Must have access to the full funding required for this course**

Academic Entry StandardsMinimum Education Qualification: 10+2 with minimum score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1 – Individually in each subject i.e. Physics / Mathematics / English or a Higher Degree in these subjects with minimum of 51%.
NOTE: Prior to your induction training with IndiGo you will be required to pass a drug test.
