We have spent much time ministering on

culture and how that we have been part of

some culture, whether religious, ethnic, or

social sub culture. We eat, socialize and co-

habitat based on our cultural habits.

We have defined the world, or this system and

no matter how you define it, it opposes Godand His creation.

A few weeks ago we talked about the basic threeallurements of the world and then gave thescriptural admonition for how to overcome them.

Our focus will be on power, the power thatJesus spoke of and that was relevant in a culturalshift during the Roman Empire. This exponentialgrowth impacted and infected the Roman Empire

to the degree that many thought this growthwould threaten the existing power and eventuallyrebel.

This power is in you, by virtue of the HolyGhost which is in you. I believe that it isdormant in many lives because of the lack of

reality in many peoples lives. When we think of power we automatically

displace this mentality to the Apostolic Ageand to a few gifted people, but in reality thisis an untapped and revolutionary mentality,

You have this power.

I am going to teach those who are teachable

how to bring glory to God with this power.

I am not speaking of the random, the five fold

ministry (Ephesians 4: 11), your motivational

or your spiritual gift. In fact, all of you have

the potential because of this power to unleash

Jesus to your family, this region and the world.

I want to dispel the laity versus ministry dichotomythat has taken root in the church. I am not threatenedand I am tired of ministry manipulating and controllingpeople based on keeping them from their calling to

bring glory to God through the finished work of JesusChrist by the Holy Ghost.

Jeremiah 23:4 (New King James Version)

I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them;

and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shallthey be lacking, says the LORD.

This is the reason for lack of fulfillment inside

of the body and consequently a church culture

that gives and gives but never sees Jesus in

their everyday life.

If I understand the my calling as an apostle-

pastor this is what I am supposed to be

doing.

The current culture of the church doesntrecognize these unnamed saints. In fact theywere the church and doing the work of the

ministry under the power of the Holy Ghostthat turned a culture and an empire upsidedown.

How many people misunderstand thedifference between position by that I meana leadership position versus our calling

Church leadership has its place and creates an

environment for discipling people. Your calling

is to minister the person of Jesus Christ to

your sphere of living.

Pastor, Im not smart enough or well spoken

enough, you have inside you all you need to

impact people.

Glory Only in the Lord

according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble,are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of theworld to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen theweak things of the world to put to shame the things whichare mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and thethings which are despised God has chosen, and the thingswhich are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29

that no flesh should glory in His presence.

What is the problem with revelation?

When revelation is given and goes into our

spiritual man it brings light. If this light is not

guiding and shining it remains alone. We

become indoctrinated with knowledge and

the spiritual application becomes lost.

Consequently we become susceptible todelusion and deception.
