love, marriage, sex has become sex, love, marriage. Our culture used to have shared assump1ons about love, sex, and marriage. Today, we no longer share a common understanding of the purposes of love, marriage, and sex. You can’t go online, scan Facebook posts, watch TV, or pick up a news magazine without seeing someone commen1ng on these themes. What was once private is now quite public, what would once lead a person to blush is now a part of everyday conversa1on. The problem is most of us, even if we are married, have deeply examined what Chris1anity says about love, sex, and marriage.
