PROJECT • Surface water and groundwater monitoring has continued throughout the year. This work allows veriﬁcation of the results from the water census which was completed in 2010. • Renewal application submitted for Licence A414. • CCC visit to the Mines Rescue Station in Lithgow in March and scheduled meeting completed in September. • Baseline surface water quality sampling was undertaken 28 September. • Baseline groundwater quality and level sampling was undertaken 28 September. • Baseline remote vibrating wire piezometer data is collected remotely on a daily basis. • Baseline weather data is remotely collected on a daily basis. The purpose of baseline data collection is to build an understanding of the existing environment through the collection of enviornmental monitoring data. This environmental monitoring data may be used in a future environmental assessment. ACTIVITIES COMPLETED IN 2016 • Continue baseline enviromental monitoring for weather, surface water and groundwater. • Exploration program proposes to complete seven boreholes across EL7431 and EL7432 in 2017. This program is awaiting budget approval by Centennial management before it can be conﬁrmed. AnapplicationwithNSWTrade&InvestmentfortherenewalofA414wassubmittedinJune2016.ApprovalisexpectedbyDecember2016.
