Welcome to my english brochure about my work as a wedding photographer! Please take a look around, learn everything you need to know about me, my work, motivation, approach as well as services and conditions. I am a german wedding photographer based in the middle of Germany and Ibiza. I offer naturale, modern and creative photography for those living their own style. You want to see raw emotion, the true atmosphere, and those tiny fleeting moments. This is my favorite! Naturally alive and right in the middle--that's my kind of wedding photography. About meI love photography.
I was born in Cologne in 1976.
I got my first camera at the age of 8.
A very basic Agfa model I found in my granny’s cupboard.
I started taking pictures (mostly quite blurred ones in the beginning), mostly of my brother and my pa-rents and as soon as they were tired of posing for me: My favourite soft toys.
It was the beginning of a lifelong passion.
My cameras became bigger, more complex and more expensive and I developed some technical knowledge.
When it came to choosing a job it was out of question to become anything else than a photographer.I started as a trainee at Sarosdy Photography and graduated three years later as best student.Until then I’ve worked as a freelance photographer, at first for corporate clients mostly.
In 2011 I moved to Hilden, a small town in the middle of Germany. I founded “in love-engaged-photographed” – wedding photography for couples in love. I’d describe my style as mo-dern but natural. Of course, it develops constantly, mostly due to the fact that I find new inspirations in so many little things that lead to new ideas every day …
As a photographer I’m on location most of the time as the majority of my work takes place outside my studio, for example at weddings. But I’m also happy to come to your place for portrait shoots!
My clients especially appreciate my style: They are able to recognize themselves in my photos, which is the biggest compliment a photographer can get from my point of view. I work hard to achieve thisand getting to know new lovely people and their life stories every day makes my job the best job in the world. My most precious moments: The smile on my client’s faces the moment they look at their photos for the first time.
There is a German saying: „Wenn man sein Hobby zum Beruf macht, muss man nie wieder arbeiten!“ (“If your passion becomes your job you never have to work again.”). Well, I’d love to agree 100%, but there’s still something called accounting and tax declarations …
