INNOVATION TAKES PRACTICE. SO GET STARTED. Have ideas and want someone to listen? We want to hear your ideas. Want to help improve life in your community? We want to help you be a successful and innovative

Innovation takes inspiration and discipline, but that is something most teams can deliver if those teams include people with a broad range of interests, skills and relationships. It is a process that you can learn. Innovation takes practice. So let’s get started!

THE CHALLENGEThe ultimate challenge is to develop an innovative product or service your community values. The first step in developing something new is often to PITCH your idea to gain support. The first PITCH phase is all about your creativity, ideas and the things you want to learn and do.

In the PLAN & PROPOSE phases you research those ideas, set goals, craft a plan to meet them and propose that partners support your team.

The fourth PROTOTYPE phase you put your plan into action and create a prototype product or service so you can actually test your idea out in the market. That might be the financial markets, retail markets or the marketplace of ideas!

TAKE THE FIRST STEP Video your 30 second elevator pitch and share it with Ten80 through social media.

Enterprise & Innovation Guide OverviewInnovation is a process that can be learned. Your product or service is developed through the engineering process. Your business, marketing and management plans to bring the innovation to market - financial, retail markets or marketplace of ideas - requires a very similar process of defining, testing, revising and repeating.

The specific knowledge and skills you’ll need depend on the project. On the other hand, inspired leadership and community stewardship are two things that every sustainable business and organization requires.

Through this project, you’ll truly understand what many of today’s leading entrepreneurs already know: that you can do well by “doing good”.
