RollerDrives: IP66 washdownInterroll RollerDrives were designed mainly to be used inpowered zero pressure accumulation conveyors configuredin zones (including curved sections). The RollerDrive oper-ates with an integral low voltage electrical drive systemwhich does not require additional mechanical componentssuch as external motors, chains or drive shafts. This is adistinct design advantage, because there are fewer surfacesexposed to wet environments. The RollerDrive with IP66 rat-ing construction for washdown applications is protectedagainst corrosive substances and has excellent sealing. The24 VDC motor is housed inside a 50 mm (1.90 in) stainlesssteel tube (DIN 2463).
