We are technologists and asset managers with years of industry experience in providing asset funding and management. This allows us to interact with decision-makers in Finance, IT and Procurement functions within an organisation.

Everyone at Innovent works proactively with our clients to understand their business and technology challenges in order to provide solutions to lower costs and improve the management of IT and ICT assets.

We provide funding solutions for a wide and varied range of technology, from tablets to laptops, desktops to printers/copiers, servers and storage, audio visual and digital signage, networking and telephony equipment.

InnoVent’s funding solutions can also incorporate workplace office furniture, such as workstation desks, office chairs and board room tables.

In addition to the more traditional office-based technology assets, we also provide lease solutions for retail, manufacturing, logistics and services equipment.

Our typical contract lengths range from 12 months to 5 years, with the majority of our clients retaining their equipment for between 3 and 4 years.

InnoVent Complete Asset & Lease Management Service (iCLAMS®) was developed in-house by InnoVent as a client web portal to provide instant online access to leased and client owned assets in a single repository.

iCLAMS® is a multi-asset class, multi-lessor, multi-currency, asset management solution, which is able to manage a plethora of assets, from technology to vehicles, plant and machinery to medical equipment, ground support equipment to smart-meters; the list is infinite.

We understand the variety of equipment that our clients have within their businesses and iCLAMS® caters for the unique attributes associated

with each asset allowing feature-rich data to be captured against each asset.

InnoVent collects and records detailed asset information on all new purchases and populates our iCLAMS® system with the financial, technical and location attributes of assets. iCLAMS® enables effective cost centre recharging between group companies, business units and client contracts which will help improve budget management within organisations.

At the End of the LeaseAfter our clients have used the technology assets for an initial usage period, the equipment is returned to our end of lease processing centres. On arrival, all equipment is securely data erased guaranteeing absolute data sanitisation of all IT assets, including servers, desktop/laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, SSDs and virtual drives.

InnoVent is responsible for making sure all equipment is processed in accordance with to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS).

Refurbish, Up-cycle and Re-Use Our aim as an organisation is to reduce waste in the technology industry through our complete lifecycle management service. We help our clients to take care of the environment and give something back to the developing world through the safe and ethical rental and re-rental of technology.

All returned equipment is rigorously tested, up-cycled

and re-manufactured ready for re-deployment to schools, colleges, local communities and businesses in the UK,

South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania.

Up-cycling adds value to redundant IT and ICT hardware through repairs and upgrades in our reconditioning process and prepares the equipment for re-use.

African FocusThroughout South Africa and in other developing world economies in sub Saharan Africa, investment is needed to educate young people. Historical jobs in farming and other land based occupations are rapidly being replaced and we believe that an education centred around ICT will build future entrepreneurs and help the economies in deprived areas grow.

InnoVent has built a retail re-rental capability in Africa. Our approach cuts out several middle men and takes the assets straight from our UK clients to our African customers. This reduces cost, waste and enables cost effective re-usage.
