Inserting a Hyperlink into Microsoft Word
This PowerPoint is part of our 60 Second Tips series
A hyperlink is an electronic link between your document and another document or, more likely to a web page. To insert a hyperlink select a word or phrase and go to the Insert ribbon and select Hyperlink.
You can either hyperlink to a Document already on your computer, or click Browse the Web.
However, many people have already found the website that they wish to link to their document. In this case copy the URL….
….go back to your document and press CTRL + K on your keyboard to open the Insert Hyperlink option. Then press CTRL + V to paste the URL into the address line…
…then press OK (or enter) to complete the hyperlink.
