Chris salansChris Salans is Bali’s acclaimed culinary ambassador and World Gourmet Summit’s 2014 MANITOWAC Restaurateur of the Year. It has always been Chris’s passion to create awe-inspiring food and bold innovative culinary concepts yet keeping to the philosophy of using only the freshest sustainable local produce.

Chris has developed and mastered his own style of cuisine – marrying the techniques of Western modern cooking and presentation, with the native ingredients and amazing flavours of Indonesia. To illustrate the diversity of these flavours, the menu at Spice is ever changing and adapts to the seasons depending on the ingredients that are available at the market.

The Paletas emerged in Mexico in the 1930’s, in the city of Tocumbo, Mexico; and since then are one of the MOST appreciated Mexican desserts. The Paletas name comes from the Spanish “Palo” (Stick) + “eta”(short in reference to the small wooden stick that holds each frozen ice cream).

The shops in where they are sold are known as “Paleterías” and it’s vendors called “Paleteros”. During the beginning of 2015, Paletas wey brought the concept to Bali in where they contacted with a new culture, suffering a fusion of tropical flavors, format and colors. The wide range of flavors can be divided into two basic categories; water or milk based. The composition of each flavor can vary, but the foundation and principle is in its high concentration of fresh fruits with no added chemicals.

Milk the Goat is a “California Pinup Hippie” fashion and jewellery label created by girls who love travel, surf, laughing, and life. Head designer Nicole Kunz and her fellow Milkmaids believe the world is their playground. These adventures gallivanting across the globe inspire a unique line for eclectic bohemian spirits.

Milk the Goat produces its own self-titled house label of clothing, jewellery, and swimwear. They also stock other emerging designers, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces found while travelling.

They also like to think of theirselves as more than just another online store. They love taking fans along for the ride via videos of their buying and design trips to places like Nepal, India, and Indonesia. They hope this will keep their customers connected to the beautiful faces on the other side of the world who contribute your awesome MTG wardrobe.

Simonetta and Marco, enchanted by the Indonesian batik manufacturing technique, started to design clothes using the ancient art of fabric decoration adding a contemporary European twist.

This approach allowed them to revolutionize the design while keeping the Indonesian tradition alive.

QUARZIA batik are inspired by the beauty of tropical nature such as petals, the delicate elegance of flowers, palm trees and peacock feathers. The use of geometric patterns is prominent too. QUARZIA’s design team enjoys playing with various shapes, lines and colors to produce visual effects that can bring to mind the delicate veins of a leaf or the vibrant bursts of light in a sunset.
