And, ofcourse, it’s always invigorating – not to mention a lot of fun –just to get together with thousands of positive, like-minded,health-oriented Juice Plus+® people from across the globe.

So, as Ron Watkins would say, “fasten your seatbelts.” We thinkwe’ve put together our most inspiring and informative JuicePlus+® Leadership Conference yet, and hope that you’ll agree.

As always, please let me or any member of our Home Officestaff know if there is anything we can do to make yourNashville Leadership Conference experience more productiveand enjoyable.

Living Life to the Plus+TM

with David B. Phillips, M.D.

Some people think our new Live Life to the Plus+TM campaignis only about physical accomplishments – pushing yourselfand your body to the limit, as people like Bear Grylls and ourJuice Plus+® Desert Runners do. Those people might viewDavid B. Phillips, M.D., of Atlanta, Georgia, in that same light.

After all, Dr. Phillips is an accomplished athlete in his ownright. He was a twelve-time Prep School Swimming All-American at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts;the National Prep School Champion in the 100-yard back-stroke; and an All-American swimmer at Harvard University, his collegiate alma mater where he earned academic honorsbefore graduating in 1984. He went on to receive a medicaldegree in 1989 from Wright State University School ofMedicine in Dayton, Ohio, where he was elected to the prestigious national academic Alpha Omega Alpha MedicalHonor Society.

“After graduating from medical school, I decided to go intoemergency medicine,” David recalls. “I had ‘shadowed’ somepeople in the emergency department, and it was very excitingand challenging work – you’ve got 30 or 40 beds and 30 or 40different diagnoses to deal with,” he elaborates. He completedhis residency in emergency medicine in 1991.

“My early years of practice were very exciting,” David shares.“But while I had been trained to treat the medical problemsthat I encountered, I had not been trained to deal with theemotional aspects of the job – and that began to take a realtoll on me. Physicians take care of other people, but too oftenwe don’t take care of our ourselves,” he explains. “I knew mylife had to change. So I decided that I would take my medicalbackground and my athletic background, put them together, and make sports medicine my new focus.”

At about the same time, David took up triathlons, concen-trating on the “Ironman” distance that consists of a 2.4-mileswim followed by a 112-mile bike ride and a 26.2-mile

marathon. “It was not only a way to get myself back physical-ly, but also a way to help me reintegrate into society again –back into life,” he relates.

This is when Juice Plus+® entered the picture.

“I didn’t know anything about nutrition,” he admits. “In fouryears of medical school, I got two weeks of nutrition training.I was approached while I was training for triathlons by a verypretty woman named Heidi, who later became my wife,” hecontinues. “She introduced me to this product that providesnutrition from fruits and vegetables in capsules – you mayhave heard of it,” he laughs. “At first, it was too hard for meto wrap my Ivy League doctor brain around something so simple. But Heidi was persistent, and the clinical research was big for me as a physician, so I ended up taking it.

“For me, this was a huge turning point in my life,” David

4

5

confides. “I qualified for and competed in the 2005 IronmanWorld Championships in Hawaii, and I could tell that JuicePlus+® played a positive role physiologically in allowing me to do that.” David has also been selected twice as a USATriathlon All-American and qualified as a member of Team USA for the 2008 ITU World Ironman TriathlonChampionships in Vancouver, British Columbia.

So, a radical professional change, and not one, but two eliteathletic careers – that qualifies as “Living Life to the Plus+” in our book. But not so much for David.

“I began working with a charitable community called theGetting2Tri Foundation (Getting2Tri.org), which providesphysically challenged athletes with coaching, training, andmentoring in triathlon and its component sports. One of the individuals I worked with there was Jason Fowler. Jason is a gifted athlete, who won the wheelchair division of theIronman World Championships in 2009 [and who is also featured on LiveLifeToThePlus.com]. Jason truly represents

what it means to ‘Live Life to the Plus+TM.’ He’s an inspirationnot only to Heidi and me, but to everyone he meets.”

David believes that Jason’s story captures the very essence ofLiving Life to the Plus+. “It doesn’t matter how far you fall,”he explains. “You can always pick yourself back up again andshoot for the stars, regardless of your field of endeavor.”

Dr. Phillips continues to work with athletes and compete intriathlons while he and Heidi raise three athletic teenage sons.He is also an accomplished lecturer, as many of you know fromhis prolific speaking schedule on behalf of Juice Plus+®.

Join us Thursday night as Dr. DavidB. Phillips explains how Juice Plus+®

helps thousands of people Live Lifeto the Plus+TM by inspiring healthyliving around the world.

Those few words – the theme of our 2011 Fall Leadership

Conference – encapsulate what the Juice Plus+® experience is all

about.

Juice Plus+® is much more than just a product, of course,

but that’s where it all begins. Juice Plus+® is a prod-

uct unlike any other, offering the finest whole

food ingredients, continually refined and

improved; supported by an unprecedented

program of published, peer-reviewed clinical

research; and bearing the NSF seal of

approval on every bottle.

Juice Plus+® is also a business unlike any

other. The Juice Plus+® Virtual Franchise® gives

people from all walks of life a simple vehicle

through which they can realize their dreams, whether

large or small. Especially in today’s uncertain economy, the Juice

Plus+® business is a lightning rod for the entrepreneurial spirit and

a beacon of equal opportunity.

Most important of all, however, Juice Plus+® is a team of people

unlike any other – dedicated, motivated, and passionate about

our cause. From our corporate leaders and National Marketing

Directors to our customer care professionals and our newest, fast-

tracking Virtual Franchisees, Juice Plus+® people use our product

and our business to impact the lives of large and ever-

growing numbers of people, not only here in the

United States and Canada, but also in 20 coun-

tries around the world.

At a time where an ounce of prevention is

worth many pounds of cure, we’re spreading

the word about the importance of living a

healthier lifestyle, and teaching our children

to do the same. And we continue to lead the

way through innovative new products and mar-

keting approaches and an ever-evolving business

model that stays several steps ahead of the rest.

Yes, inspiring healthy living is a truly lofty goal.

We can be proud it’s something that we do every day.

The rideculminates in a futuristic world of plants growing without soil, aworld that quickly became Tim’s domain.

“The Living with the Land pavilion and I were a perfect match,”Tim smiles. “After six months as an intern, I spent the next sixyears conducting research in every horticultural discipline imagi-nable – all in the controlled agricultural environment of TheLand.” He also served as a research liaison for the Department of Energy and NASA (National Aeronautics and SpaceAdministration) partnership with Walt Disney World.

Inspiring Healthy Living through Wellness Presentations

Jennifer Myers

Jennifer Myers knows the secretto success in the Juice Plus+®

business.

“Two letters,” she tells us. “WP.”

As you probably know, “WP”stands for “Wellness Presentations.”But what you may not know isthat the people in the Juice Plus+®

business who make Wellness Presentations are consistently thepeople with the greatest business momentum.

“Wellness Presentations are the #1 catalyst for growing ahealthy business,” Jennifer agrees. “With your entire teamfocused on WPs, you’re exposing more people to our greatJuice Plus+® product, and so you can’t help but grow your Juice Plus+® business.”

Jennifer knows what she’s talking about. Known as the“Cheetos lady” by visitors to JuicePlus.com, she is knowninside Juice Plus+® World as one of our most successful NMDs.She and NMD husband Sean have been taking Juice Plus+®

for 18 years now. They both believe that the world needs Juice Plus+® now more than ever.

“I know moms across the country are pulling their hair outevery day trying to get their kids to eat right,” Jennifer insists.“Juice Plus+® is the answer – because, let’s face it: who amongus is eating kale, and parsley, and beets, and cabbage, andpapaya, and cranberries every day?

“When you have good nutrition everything works better,” shecontinues. “You feel better, you look better, you live longer, you’re sick less often – all of those things revolve around yourlevel of nutrition.”

Jennifer’s enthusiasm about both Juice Plus+® and WellnessPresentations is contagious. That’s why we’ve asked her tohelp us introduce our newly updated Wellness Presentationbooklet on Friday afternoon.

“What I like most about Wellness Presentations is that theydon’t have to be ‘cookie-cutter,’” Jennifer explains. “Sure, theygive us a basic presentation to use,” she admits, “and that helpskeep our job simple. But you can easily adapt the presentationto your audience, or pick a theme that fits your personality.Wine & Wellness. Healthy, Happy Kids. Girls Night Out. Thepossibilities are endless.

What does Jennifer like most about doing the Juice Plus+®

business – besides Wellness Presentations, of course? “I likethat it’s not all about ‘oh, I want to make a sale,’” she answers.“It’s about helping people, educating them. I know too muchto keep my mouth shut about Juice Plus+®. It’s too good, andpeople need it, and I see it that way.”

Jennifer considers what the Juice Plus+® business has meant to her and her family. “Juice Plus+® has provided us a lifestylethat I could never have dreamed of,” she says, “but it’s not justabout the income. I get to be home every day when my kidswalk through that door off the school bus. Sean and I bothvolunteer in their school. We travel together as a family. The freedom this business gives us is simply amazing.

“So many people are worried about their futures, their financialfutures – do they have a job?” she observes. “And Sean and I sithere in a position where we’re totally secure with our incomeand with what we do – knowing that we get to do somethingthat makes a difference in people’s lives every single day.

“Every time I talk to somebody about Juice Plus+®, I’m makinga difference – a positive, powerful difference – and that meansa lot to me.”

Dayton, Ohio chiropractic physi-cian Dr. Michael Ewald and hiswife Karen are the quintessentialJuice Plus+® success couple.Starting out as Juice Plus+®

customers in 1998, they’ve risenthrough our leadership ranks tobecome Juice Plus+® NationalMarketing Directors and membersof our elite 100 Club.

Dr. Ewald is a 1989 graduate of Palmer College ofChiropractic, where he earned his doctorate, and has prac-ticed in the Dayton area for 24 years. He has worked with anumber of professional sports teams, including his current roleas team chiropractor for the Cincinnati Reds Class A affiliateDayton Dragons. Karen, a registered nurse, has enjoyed theopportunity to be a stay-at-home mom raising the couple’sthree children.

“Mike and I actually met when he was one of my patients,”Karen shares. “I did his IV sedation for an in-office surgicalprocedure. He asked me out after his surgery, and we ended up getting married about 10 months later!”

Dr. Ewald first heard about Juice Plus+® from a patient in1998. “It made sense to us, since we were both big juicers atthe time,” he recalls.

“In the beginning, we weren’t really interested in the business,”Karen explains. “In fact, it wasn’t until we attended our firstJuice Plus+® Leadership Conference in March 1999 that wegot excited about the business. Mike is self-employed, and wesaw the value of diversifying our income and earning theNMD benefits package. So, on our plane flight home, we gotout a legal pad and wrote down hundreds of names, and wentto work as soon as we landed.

“We concentrated on Mike’s business first,” Karen continues,“and he made National Marketing Director by the fall of2000. He was the first chiropractor to make Juice Plus+®

NMD,” she adds proudly. “We built my business next, and Imade NMD in 2004.”

What has the Juice Plus+® business meant to the Ewalds? “OurJuice Plus+® income has already helped us put two of our threekids through college; and the third is starting this fall. (I can’tbelieve our baby is going off to college!),” Karen answers.“And the NMD benefits package is still a huge deal for us.”

Because of their success in the Juice Plus+® business, Dr.Ewald was able to sell his “very busy and very stressful chiro-practic practice” in October 2005 and open a much smallerpractice near his home. “I love my profession, but not the way I used to have to practice,” he explains. “Now I only seepatients three days a week.”

“That means Mike gets to spend more time with me and thechildren now,” Karen smiles.

Given their great success, what keeps Mike and Karen Ewaldworking hard at the Juice Plus+® business today? “The oppor-tunity to continue to change people’s lives,” Mike responds.Karen chimes in: “We want to be able to keep creating experi-ences with our family – traveling together with our childrenand grandchildren, doing volunteer work together – to helpthem grow and reach their full potential.”

Join Dr. Mike and Karen Ewald on Friday afternoon as theyoffer advice to help you grow and reach your full potential inthe Juice Plus+® business.

Inspiring Healthy Living as Juice Plus+® Leaders

By sharing the Juice Plus+® product with everyone we know – and the Juice Plus+®

Virtual Franchise® with anyone who might be interested – we are “inspiring healthy livingaround the world.” But it’s as Juice Plus+® team leaders that we multiply our efforts

and magnify our impact on the world around on us.

On Saturday, we’ll recognize our up-and-coming leaders, including our newest NMDs, andlearn from two individuals – one from within our Juice Plus+® family and one from elsewhere

in the direct sales industry – who have successfully led large teams of their own.

With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy,we challenged long-time NationalMarketing Director Bobby Padgettto close our Nashville FallConference on Saturday with his perspective on just what ittakes – and what it means – to be a Juice Plus+® NationalMarketing Director.

After all, Bobby has four National Marketing Directors in hisfamily, including his wife Lisa and father Leslie. The Padgettsare also the originators of the weekend “Boot Camp” concept, and still hold three boot camps every year on their 610-acrefamily farm down in Waynesboro, Georgia. Over the years, their Juice Plus+® team has grown to encompass people fromall across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

So we were not the least bit surprised when Bobby readilyaccepted our challenge. It took him only a few seconds to getrolling with some examples.

“You might be a Juice Plus+® National Marketing Director ifyou’ve always wanted to own your own business, but thoughtyou didn’t have the money to do it,” he offers, tentatively.

Okay. That’s the general idea.

“Here’s another one,” he suggests. “You might be a JuicePlus+® National Marketing Director if you and your spouse [or significant other] actually like each other and would enjoyworking together, like Lisa and I do.”

That’s a really great example for lots of people, Bobby, but itmight not be appealing to everyone. Anyway, those are both

“You might be a National Marketing Director if…”

Mary Christensen has a verystraightforward purpose for beingwith us Saturday morning. “I want toinspire your people to do more withtheir Juice Plus+® businesses, and toget more from them,” she explains.

Mary is more than just another“inspirational” speaker touting emptyplatitudes, however. She has “walked

the talk” of direct sales success herself, and in the processgained a firsthand appreciation of both the unique gratifica-tions and the common pitfalls associated with person-to-per-son selling.

Like a number of our own Juice Plus+® leaders, Mary startedout as a teacher. She left her teaching career to become adirect selling representative and soon found herself successful

beyond her wildest expectations. She ultimately became CEOof two multinational direct sales companies and served aspresident of the Direct Selling Association of New Zealand.

From these vantage points, Mary has had the opportunity toanalyze and follow literally hundreds of direct selling compa-nies around the world and to experience direct sales fromevery possible angle. That’s why today she is direct selling’s #1 speaker worldwide, making over 200 appearances a year.

Join us Saturday morning as Mary Christensen shares herpowerful personal insights gleaned from many years of experience at all levels of direct sales. “I will help your repre-sentatives move beyond doubt, distraction, delays, and disap-pointments,” she promises, “so that they can take even greateradvantage of the opportunities offered them by the JuicePlus+® Virtual Franchise®.”

“You might someday be a National Marketing Director if …”examples. What about ways people can tell if you’re already aJuice Plus+® National Marketing Director?

Bobby contemplates this twist. “Oh, I get it,” he responds.“Something like ‘You might be a National Marketing Directorif you used to be afraid of public speaking, and you suddenlyfind yourself talking in front of thousands of people,’ like I’llbe doing at Conference.”

That’s really good, and very true, but it’s so serious. How abouttrying to work in some of that renowned Padgett humor?

Bobby smiles. “Alright. How about ‘You might be a JuicePlus+® National Marketing Director if your newest SalesCoordinator is your twelve-year-old.”

LOL. That’s the ticket.

“Or ‘You might be a Juice Plus+® National Marketing Directorif your family holds an intervention because you keep goingoff to someplace called ‘Boot Camp,’” he continues. “Or, ‘Youmight be a Juice Plus+® National Marketing Director if …’”

Hey, we just knew Bobby would be good at this! Come hearwhat other examples of “You might be an National MarketingDirector if …” he comes up with. “I’ll do an even better jobgiven a little more time to work on it, especially once I canget Lisa to help me,” he promises.

If Bobby’s Juice Plus+® business is any indication, we can certainly count on that.

We’re proud to call Juice Plus+® “the next best thing” to

fruits and vegetables. But how does it feel to be the next best

thing to the Next Great American Band? Ask Sixwire, the

hotter-than-hot Nashville group appearing at The Big Juice

Plus+® Party on Saturday night.

Sixwire was runner-up in American Idol’s Next Great American

Band television series, following their selection as a finalist

from over 10,000 entrants. They’re featured regularly as the

house band on CMT, including Season 1 of CMT’s Next

Superstar, and have made numerous other television appear-

ances on GAC and the USA Network.

Sixfire members have appeared and recorded with Faith Hill,

Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Kenny Rogers,

Vince Gill, Lee Greenwood, Olivia Newton John, and Lonestar;

and written songs recorded by McGraw, Rogers, Brooks &

Dunn, and many others. Their Warner Brothers CD Sixwire

debuted in the Top 30 and featured two hit singles.

On Saturday night, you’ll hear Sixfire originals, as well as

songs they’ve written for other stars. You’ll also hear their

tribute to the great bands of the 70s and 80s and their medley

of the greatest classic rock guitar riffs and solos of all time.
